Booker T's PWA June 29 event, DWF on July 28 & notes on PWX & NSW |

Booker T's PWA held their 6th show of the year entitled "Tag Team Explosion", at The Pasadena Convention Center. Attendance was around 580. This event marked the start of the PWA Tag Team Tournament.
1st Match) Jaykus Pliskin & Mike Foxx def. The Wrecking Crew (Mike B. Nasty & Tank Bishop) at 8:37 in a PWA Tag Team Tournament Qualifying Match The Wrecking Crew are "gangsters". Match starts of with The Wrecking Crew dominating Jaykus & Mike in the ring at the same time, Mike Nasty gets thrown to the outside, leaving Jaykus with Mike Foxx & Tank. Double suplex to Jaykus, Tank goes to the corner and Mike Foxx goes for the cover but only got a 2 count. Around the 4 minute mark, Jaykus & Mike got the upperhand with quick tags and double teaming on Mike Nasty. Finally Mike Nasty got the tag around the 6 minute mark and started dominating both Jaykus & Mike Foxx. Jaykus goes to the outside and Tank does an irish whip to Mike Foxx, Tank goes for the closeline but Mike dodges and then those a spinebuster, Mike Foxx goes for the cover and got the victory.
2nd Match) Gabe Hollier & "Surfin" Surge def. The South African Connection in a PWA Tag Team Tournament Qualifying Match. The South African Connection beleive it or not are from South Africa, they are apart of PWA Africa, another division part of PWA here in USA. Throughout the match the South African's talked their language and insulted the crowd, this led to the crowd chanting "USA". Match starts with the african guys dominating Gabe. One of the african guy does and Irish Whip to Gabe, and Gabe comes back with a spinning heel kick, tries to make the tag but the the african guy stops him by holding his leg, but Gabe made a comeback with an Inziguri kick and finally made the tag to Surge. Crowd was way over Surge as he dominated the South African Connection in and out. Surge does several arm drags. Finish came when Gabe did the top rope elbow drop.
(Quick Note: Sorry for saying "The African Guys" is just they didn't announced them Individually so I do not really know what were there names)
3rd Match) Kryll (Creet & Adrian Star) w/ Lady Poison def. "Explicit Content" (Franco Valentino & Steve DeMarco) in a PWA Tag Team Qualifying Match One of the best matches of the night was this match. During Kryll's entrance, Lady Poison came up with a entrance and it was that she walked the top rope and Creet bringing her down. Also the crowd started chanting "She got herpes". Match starts with all 4 teams in the ring as Explicit Content dominates. Finally Creet & Steve start to wrestle. Kryll made quick tags, wearing down Steve. At one point, Creet held on to Steve and Lady Poison came and she was supposed to spit poison to Steve but Steve ducked and Lady Poison accidently sprayed Creet!. This was the perfect time as Steve tagged in. Now it was Franco against Adrian Star with Franco dominating. At this point Creet & Lady Poison distracted the ref. Franco and Steve were about to finish the match but all of the sudden this guy comes and gives a stunner to Steve then he sends Franco to the outside, he hides in the ring and AD came with a perfect time and pinned Steve for the victory.
Aftermath: It turns out that the guy who attacked Explicit Content was no other than JASON HOLLIER! (He is the brother of Gabe Hollier) and the audience was in shocked because at the beginning of this year, Kryll kidnapped Jason forcing him out of action and everybody was shocked. The crowd boo Kryll and Lady Poison actually had an arguement with a female fan at ringside and almost had a catfight but Adrian Star prevented that from happening.
4th Match) Jared Steele def. Samson in the Semi-Finals of the PWA Heavyweight Title Tournament. Samson is from Greece and Jared from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Samson was praying at the beginning of the match and Jared shouted "Your going to need more than that to beat me". Finally Jared comes from behind and attacked Samson. Back and forth action by the 2 wrestlers. Jared puts Samson between the top rope and middle rope and came with a closeline that send Samson to the outside. Jared grabs Samson and threw him in the steel steps twice, finally he thorws Samson back in the ring. Jared comes and pounded Samson's head at the 4 turnbuckles. Samson furious comes and starts punching Jared. Samson does an irish whip followed by a Gorilla Press Drop goes for the cover but only got a 2 count. Scoop Slam to Jared and Samson goes for the big splash but only got a 2 count again. Jared gets thrown to the corner and Samson comes running towards Jared but he moved out of the way wish resulted in Samson hitting his shoulder in the steel post. Jared come and does the Forward Russian
Legsweep for the victory.
Aftermath: Johnny Bravo interviewed Jared and he said that he is going for the PWA Heavyweight Title then said that he will beat anybody for the title, the crowd boo Jared.
Adrian then asks the crowd if they want to go to intermission or see Neico wrestle, the crowd wanted Neico to wrestle first before going to Intermission and Adrian agreed and introduced the next match.
5th Match) Neico def. Steve Williams via Submission
Steve and Neico shook hands at the beginning of the match. Starts of with alot back and forth action with offense and defense moves by both wrestlers. Then Neico goes for the roll-up but Steve kicked out and came with a small package, then Neico countered and did an inside cradle but Steve kicked out and went for the La Magristral Pin and Neico kicked out, both men stared at each other and the crowd cheered both of them. Later in the match some botch moves were made by both wrestlers. Finish came with Neico does an irish whip followed by a drop toe hold and then Neico went for the STFU and made Steve submit.
We had a 10-minute Intermission
6th Match) The Trump Towers (Max-A-Million & Richy Rich) w/ "Lovely" Little Dollar def. Team Cuba (Gutavo Mendoza & Rubio) w/ Sr. Castro at 9:42 in a PWA Tag Team Qualifying Match One of the funniest match of the night. Match starts with Max and Gustavo. Max dominated Gustavo but Gustavo came back with alot of offense moves, tag was made to Rubio as they double teamed Max. Rubio goes for 3 uppercuts to Max, irish whip to Max into Team Cuba corner, Rubio tagged in Gustavo. They both started kicking Max in the corner. Snapmare to Max by Gustavo, this follows with Gustavo in a sleeper holder move to Max. Richy tried to come and save Max but the ref backed him up telling him to go to the corner this allowed Rubio to kick Max in the legs. Finally Gustavo let's go, picks up Max and goes for a closeline but Max dodged it and did a dropkick to Gustavo. Crowd is into the match, finally Max made the tag and Richy Rich came and closeline, scooped slamed both Gustavo and Rubio. Richy throws Rubio to the outside where Max took care of him. Finish came when Richy pinned Gustavo with a fisherman buster pin.
Aftermath: Richy and Max celebrated with champagne in the ring.
Main Event) Team 3-D def. Booker T & Dawg Chetum in a Extreme Rules Match at 11:32 As soon as Team 3-D's music hit, the audience started cheering for Team 3-D, alot of "TNA" chants. Bubba Ray cuts a promo insulting the crowd saying that "Thanks for the warm welcome , but we didn't need it by lame Houston rednecks" crowd heavily boo Team 3-D. Booker T's music hit. Again Bubba made fun of Booker saying that they are the number 1 greatest tag team in the history of professional wrestling. Booker started talking, saying that he doesn't think so, and a fan hold up a sign that said "Harlem Heat", Booker T grabbed it and showed it to the audience, everybody started cheering. Booker then announces his mystery tag team partner, and it was no other that Dawg Chetum, this time he came out with out Ms. Rosa. They came running to the ring and the match started with Dawg & Booker dominating, Booker goes to the corner which leaves Bubba Ray and Dawg in the ring. Midway in the match, Bubba started really dominating Dawg with quick tags with Brother Devon. The crowd
chanted "Dawg", Devon goes for a scoop slam followed by a elbow drop. Throws Dawg to the corner, makes a tag to Bubba. Devon the comes with a big splash to Dawg in the corner, Bubba did the same. Crowd started chanting "We Want Weapons". Finished came when Devon threw Booker T to the outside and Team 3-D did the "Wazzup" finishing move to Dawg, Bubba then yells "get the tables". Devon gets the table and sets it up in the ring. Bubba picks up Dawg and powerbombed him through the table a huge pop by the audience.
Aftermath: Team 3-D cut a promo and says that they take back all the insults they did to the audience and Booker T and started saying that they were happy for having them in his show, and told Booker T that whenever the audience wants Team 3-D that they will come to Houston, Texas. The whole audience got up on their feet and started cheering for Team 3-D, then what they did was grabbed a piece of the broken table and gave it to a little kid name "Pryce" at ringside and Team-3-D, Booker T & Dawg all signed the piece of table. Bubba then tells the crowd to chant "PWA" and they did. Booker T is walking to the ramp but all of the sudden UMAGA!!! comes and confronts Booker T, they both have a stare down then Team 3-D comes from behind and started making fun of Umaga. All 3 men had a stare down to end the show.
Overall this was one of the best events PWA had has it was really a good event. PWA returns to The Pasadena Convention Center on July 21, 2007 where they will crown the next PWA Heavyweight Champion as well crowned the Tag Team Champions. Talent scheduled to appear are: Kryll, Lady Poison, Gabe Hollier, "Surfin" Surge, Jaykus Pliskin, Mike Foxx, Jared Steele, Chris Adams, Dawg Chetum, Ms. Rosa, Max-A-Million, Richy Richy, "Lovely" Little Dollar, Neico and many more.

*The champion must be starting to feel the pressure of holding the most important title in the DWF.. He has noticed that a lot of people he thought were his friends have recently been making inquiries to the DWF officials about receiving title shots at the champ.. Sensing that he can't trust many people he has surrounded him self with only his closest allies.. There has also been a noticeable increase of aggression for the young champion.. Has he let paranoia set in or is this nasty attitude adjustment just a direct result of his natural instincts for survival and to remain champion.. Either way this has made Angel even harder to knock off the top of the DWF mountain.. To make sure the fans of the DWF and other wrestling fans who will be coming to see the DWF for the first time at Sports Central in Bellmawr, NJ have a title match worthy of this new building the DWF Board of Directors and GM Atticus Rheighns signed the "Latin Attraction" to defend his coveted DWF Championship in a Triangle Match against his bitter enemy Sheik Shiel Ali and one other top flight wrestlers yet to be determined.. No Mater who the BOD and GM pick, I know Angel will be up for the Challenge..
If that was not enough, Another HUGE match has been signed for our debut in Bellmawr, NJ. If you remember at the last show there was an 8 person DWF Cruiserweight Championship match that blew the roof off of the Powerhouse Gym.. That match, widely considered the best match ever in the DWF, has been talked about ever since that event.. Always looking to give the fans the very best action possible the DWF has signed a brand new match for the Cruiserweight Title.. The match is know as Cruiserweight Countdown.. We take seven of the hottest cruiserweights in the DWF, 2 start of one on one in the ring, after 60 seconds a new cruiserweight comes in, then 60 seconds later another Cruiserweight comes in until all seven are in.. Once all 7 are in the original two stay inside the ring ate the others take a corner.. The match then becomes a elimination match where any wrestler can tag any one.. It continues until one wrestler remains and that wrestler will be the Cruiserweight
Champion.. Here are all seven wrestlers signed for the match

This match will be amazing and just may be the best match in DWF History
If that is not enough we now will announce another title match.. This one is for the DWF Tag Team Championship.. Now we know that the DWF Tag Team Champions are the Gemini Trojans and they will obviously defend those titles but against who? Unfortunately it won't be against number one contenders Hard Candy.. Zac Conner and Bazooka Joe have a previous commitment and are unable to make this show so they forfeited their number one contendership.. To make up for the number one contenders not being in the match, the DWF board of directors has replaced them with three of the top tag teams in the Devastation Wrestling Federation. So on Saturday, July the 28th the Gemini Trojans will defend their beloved DWF Tag Team Titles against former NWA United States Tag Team Champions the Lost Boyz ( Yar & Wolfe ), The Downward Spiral ( Twiggy Ramirez & Problem Child ) and the Board of Education ( Steve the Teacher & the "Modern Day Enforcer" Erik Cooper)... When DWF GM Atticus Rheighns
was ask about this, here is what he had to say "My self the the DWF Board of Directors wanted to make up for the popular team of Hard Candy not being there so we upped the anti if you will by having 4 of the best tag teams in the DWF go at it all at once. We in the Devastation Wrestling Federation want to bring back the excitement and glory of tag team wrestling and this match will be just what fans of tag team wrestling need... I care about the fans and want to give them their moneys worth and more. If any fan thought tag team wrestling was dead needs to be at the Sportz Central on Saturday, July the 28th to watch tag team wrestling rise from the ashes like the Phoenix of legend"
Speaking of our General Manager Atticus Rheighns he has received a package containing a neck brace with a note attached that says "Your soul will be mine" Noting is known abut who sent the package other then it came from Maryland.. We will let you know more about this as the story develops
Have you ever heard of a grudge match between two close friends?.. Well here in the DWF we are going to provide you with just that. For years the "Madman from the Badlands" Glen Osborne and the "Dragon of Edinburgh" Bobby Piper have been beating the holy hell out of each other up and down the North East. This has led to many broken bones, many blackened eyes, much loss of blood and most of all some of the most hard hitting action the world of professional wrestling has ever seen... What this epic war also produces is a respect and friendship between these two gladiators. They promised to never wrestle each other again for fear that the toll this struggle has taken on their bodies will shorten their careers ( if it has not already ).. Since those matches have been put to a stop Piper and Osborne have not only become training partners but they also became best of friends... One July 28th this cease fire between Osborne and Piper will come to an end. You will once again see
brutal matches that legends are made of.. In Bellmawr, New Jersey best friends will become better enemies and the fans of the DWF will be the ones who will reap the rewards.. You ask what would make them give up their hard earned friendship? Well the winner of this match will be the number one contender for the DWF Jersey State title currently held by Vinny the Fixxer... Both men have unfinished business with Vinny and even more of a motivator is both men want to hold that prestigious DWF Jersey State Title.. Either way this match won't be for the weak of heart...
