Roddy Piper recently took part in an interview with "The Pain Clinic" radio show in Rochester, NY on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK-AM commenting on the Chris Benoit tragedy.

Piper discussed having dinner with Benoit over the last few years, including after Eddie Guerrero's funeral. He regretted not having dinner with Benoit recently when he called him about it wanting to talk.

He said he would attend Chris Benoit's funeral, his first since Adrian Adonis' since he said he can't handle them. Piper called Benoit his brother and said he will stay on Benoit's side until the very end. He added quote, "I stand behind Chris Benoit a hundred percent, I’ll be at his funeral, and we’ll wait and see what comes back (from the toxicology reports)."
