PWInsider is reporting that Rob Van Dam is not under a non-compete agreement with WWE as his deal officially expired as of July 1 after deciding not to renew. This process is different when WWE releases talent and give them 90 days pay in exchange for not appearing on national TV for another wrestling company. So, RVD is free to wrestle anywhere he wishes right now, but has stated numerous times that he has no plans to get involved in wrestling right now and is enjoying his hiatus.
