Wife of Mike 'Johnny Grunge' Durham speaks out on Dr Phil Astin, more
On Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 3:44 PM EST The wife of the late Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham, Penny Bordeau-Durham, was recently interviewed by WSB-TV Channel 2 in Atlanta, GA stating that had it not been for Dr. Phil Astin giving medication "like candy" to her husband, he might still be alive. "I want the truth to be revealed," said Penny.
At the time of Mike's passing in February of 2006, authorities had no reason to believe there was any wrongdoing on the part of Astin. However, when the Benoit tragedy took place, they handed the Durham case file over to Fayetteville County investigators. Penny also stated that she and her husband were very close friends of the Benoit's and shot down that Daniel ever had Fragile X syndrome. Said Penny, "That is ridiculous. Nancy [Benoit] would have told me."
