Funeral for Nancy & Daniel Benoit yesterday; Ross speaks to the media
On Sunday, July 15, 2007 at 5:19 PM EST The funeral for Nancy and Daniel Benoit took place yesterday in Daytona Beach, Florida. There were lots of local media on hand along with some national media. None of the media was allowed inside for obvious reasons.
Among those in attendance included Jim Ross, Dave Penzer, Bill Otten, Fit Finlay, Hack Myers, Alex Porteau, Marc Mero, Dean Malenko, Penny Durham, Vickie Guerrero and Dave Meltzer. Ross spoke with the media following the funeral saying quote, "This is not a steroid issue. That horse has got to be put in the barn and unsaddled. It's not a steroid issue. It's a domestic issue. But more than anything, it's a tragedy because a mother and little boy are dead."
