Lots of hope backstage for Raw rating to increase & Smackdown rating

According to reports, there are said to be a number of people within WWE that are hoping this week's Raw sees a bump in the ratings once the number is released later today or tomorrow since the show has done so poorly over the last three weeks with consecutive 3.4 cable ratings. It should be noted that there is some serious concern between both WWE and the USA Network over the ratings slump and it has been top priority to get the problem fixed.

The 7/27 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew a final 2.6 broadcast rating with a 5.1 share. It is believed the total number of viewership for Smackdown is close to what Raw has been drawing recently, which isn't something WWE likes to see.

We hope to have more news on the ratings soon.
