Correction to report yesterday about Johnny Stamboli and a WWE deal
On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 5:14 PM EST To follow up on a report we had on the website yesterday credited to PWInsider stating that former WCW star Johnny Stamboli had signed a deal with WWE again, it is now being reported that the announcement was not exactly true. Stamboli hasn't signed a new deal with WWE yet, but will be going on the road with the comapny for several weeks for an extended tryout next month. So the statement by Impact Zone Wrestling wasn't exactly correct in its wording. WWE sources have indicated there is interest in signing Stamboli to a deal with WWE again (he was previously released back in November of 2004).
