House Subcommittee to hold hearing on steroids in pro wrestling, more
On Friday, August 31, 2007 at 5:33 PM EST We want to apologize for not reporting yesterday an article by The New York Daily News stating that The House Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection would be holding a hearing in late September on the subject of steroid use in pro wrestling.
WWE spokesman Kevin Hennessy said the company hasn't been informed of this hearing, but would attend if asked to do so. A spokesman for TNA declined to comment at this time, while NWA officials have yet to be contacted about the hearing at this point.
