Live report from the Raw taping in Columbus, OH (Possible edits for TV)
On Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 2:44 AM EST Jared Ledford sent in this live report from Sunday's Monday Night Raw taping that aired last night:
Just thought I would pass along some observations from last night's Raw...
First; During the Cena-Regal segment, a large amount of the booing was most likely removed, the airing featured some but the airing was nothing like it was in person.
Second; When the attorney came out toward the closing of Raw that segment had been re-taped and edited in with live footage (if you DVR Raw watch it closely, it overlapped quite a bit for WWE who usually has awesome editing). At the live event the attorney was fumbling his words and dropped the note he pulled from his pocket...he even referred to Mr. McMahon as Mr. McCann. I stayed in the arena long after the taping was over hoping to possibly get some autographs, the last few times I have gone, a few wrestlers have come out but this time the audience was pushed from the arena floor. Also in most live events the TitanTron is shut down a few minutes after the event, in this case the TitanTron was on long after the event, I believe they re-taped the attorney's segment to be spliced in with live footage.
Lastly; Quite a few signs were removed from last nights tapings; the signs I personally saw taken were:
- "Push Shelton"
- "DO DRUGS"
- "TNA: SUCK IT!
- "CENA FEARS ANGLE"
- Lastly a dry erase board.
Just thought I would pass it along.
