More on TNA's new TV deal with Spike TV, new taping schedule, and more
On Monday, September 10, 2007 at 4:23 PM EST According to the press release issued last night during the No Surrender PPV, TNA's new deal with Spike TV is a two-year deal that will go until October 2009.
With the show moving to two hours starting on October 4, the company will now adopt a new TV taping schedule where two hours will be filmed on a Monday night for that week and then another two hours will be filmed the following night on Tuesday for the next week. The next set of TV tapings scheduled are on September 24 and 25 in Orlando at Universal Studios.
As of now, there has been no confirmation that TNA will continue to air replays on Saturday night on Spike TV once the two hour show begins on October 4. However, since nothing has been announced, the assumption is that the company will keep the same timeslot.
