Pre-trial conference set for Dr. Astin, + doctor sentenced to 18 months
On Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 2:14 PM EST PWInsider is reporting that a pre-trial conference in the criminal case against Chris Benoit's physician Dr. Phil Astin is set for September 27. There has been no official ruling on the motion by Astin's attorneys attempting to throw out the searches of many properties related to Astin as of yet by the court.
TBO.com has an article up about Dr. John Todd Miller being sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for distributing more than $150,000 worth of steroids at a rate of $300 to $2,800 a cycle. Among Miller's clients included the late Eddie Guerrero, Billy Kidman, the late Brian Adams, Paul "Big Show" Wight and Hector Guerrero. For more, click here.
