We received tons of responses regarding a report from yesterday about WWE Films' "The Condemned" DVD being released with low copies at a Blockbuster. Here is some of the feedback we got:

Adam Sharrock sent this in: I work at a Blockbuster as well, and we have currently over 60 copies available to rent, and they've been all checked out since it was released this past Tuesday. I highly doubt a Blockbuster store received 2 copies of it when mine received over 60, especially when my town only has a population of 5000.

Sean sent this in: I have been to the 3 Blockbusters around Jacksonville and Cape Carteret, NC. And all 3 have more than 20 copies of the Condemned DVD for almost each store. I believe the Jacksonville, NC store has close to 25 copies for themselves. As of Tuesday afternoon almost every copy was checked out except for maybe 5. Just thought I should pass this along.

Steve Hinz sent this in: Just because one Blockbuster only has two copies, doesn't really mean squat. My friend that works at the local BBV where I live said his store has 6 shelves full of the movie, and each shelf can hold roughly 8 DVD covers, with however many copies of the actual movie behind it. It's always about locations and the general customer base when determining how many copies of a movie are sent to each store.

Tom V.D. sent this in: In the new edition of WWE magazine, November issue, there is a $2 off manufacturer's coupon for Stone Cold's movie The Condemned. With early reports that this could be a dvd flop, I guess the WWE Margeting department is trying to get all the sales they can.
