The end of an era.. The Butcher calls it quits !

The reckless, violent, blood spewing mammoth, known to Indy wrestling fans as Cotton the Bad Butcher, has announced that his appearance on Nov. 3rd in York Pa, for NCW will be his last soiree inside the squared circle.

The 20-plus year veteran performer, who has both chilled & thrilled crowds from coast to coast with his animalistic style is putting the "animal" in Cotton the Bad Butcher to rest.

The travel, the injuries, the wear, the tear, the burden of carrying well over 400lbs on his 6' 0 frame, are all contributing factors in the Butcher's decision.

Never one to make a big deal out of seeking title opportunities, instead remaining perfectly happy to sign on the dotted line for any kind of blood bath, the Butcher still, has managed to wear gold on several occasions throughout his career.

He is a former AAW tag team Champion teaming w/ a forgotten grappler by the name of The Extermination Machine. He is also the former 2-Time EWF/Hardway Hardcore Heavyweight Champion, and was the inaugural Universal Hardcore Heavyweight Champion, {a belt currently held by the Hungarian Barbarian} after defeating the legendary "Dirty" Dick Slater in a 16-man tournament. He is also a former NCW King-of-the-Hill series champ. Most recently Cotton and tag team partner, "Tough Enough" Greg Matthews battled unsuccessfully in a series of matches for the NCW Tag Titles.

On Nov. 3 at York County Tech, 2179 S. Queen St. York Pa, Cotton hits the ring for the final time as he battles a former co-holder of the NCW tag straps, and another former King-of-the-Hill series champion, KID KATTRELL !!!!!

Cotton wants all the fans, whether they love him or hate him, to know that on Nov. 3rd, he''ll be clicking on all cylinders, and promises a wild & wholly finally and the absolute BEST of the BUTCHER !!!!

In a short but not so sweet statement, the Butcher exclaimed "Kattrell's not planning to retire after this match. I am !!!! He may not have a choice. I hope he enjoys his ambulance ride to York Hospital"

BRODIE LEE SET TO DEBUT IN OCTOBER

Standing 6'7" tall and weighing in at almost 300lbs, BRODIE LEE is a man on the move. Still in the early stages of his career, Brodie has already faced off against the likes of Steve Corino, Abyss, Danny Doring, Sterling James Keenan, Eric Young and the tag team of Austin Aries and Roderick Strong. He has competed for such groups as Chikara, Ballpark Brawl, FNW, NWA Empire and NWA Upstate and has held the NWA Upstate Heavyweight title.

He's fast. He's agile. He's a wrestling prodigy. And now Brodie Lee is joining the Union. Brodie has set his sights squarely on winning the Union Heavyweight title and hopes to impress officials enough with his debut match at "STATE OF SHOCK" on October 6th in Toronto to earn a spot in November's title tournament. September's "BORN AGAIN" show has left Toronto wrestling fans in a "STATE OF SHOCK"! You can find out what all the excitement is about firsthand when the UNION of INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS returns to Royal Canadian Legion Hall #101 on Saturday October 6th. The Union roster will look to thrill and amaze the hometown faithful with another evening of UIPW excitement

BLOODDEATHSEXMAGIC announced their presence to the world this month and their voice will only get louder in October. First, the BDSM's self-described "drunken street-fighting maniac", SEBASTIAN DARK will take on the supremely confident JOHN McCHESNEY in a no-DQ grudge match for a spot in the November Union title tournament. Both men have a history with the title. Sebastian was the first-ever Union champ. John was the last-ever Union champ. Now, "The Bastard Son of 1,000 Corpses" and "The Fabulous One" will slug it out with no holds barred for a chance to become the NEXT Union Champion.

Then, STERLING JAMES KEENAN, leader of the BDSM, will be in the main event at "STATE OF SHOCK" as he faces off against former Ring of Honor World Tag Team champion RICKY REYES. Reyes has spent most of his career associated with men like SENSHI, ROCKY ROMERO and HOMCIDE. All four men share a type of ferocity and a kill-or-be-killed attitude that Reyes hopes will power him through Keenan and to the top of the Union. But with the incredibly sexy CHASE by his side, Sterling is looking to send the "Havana Pitbull" back to the pound.

The Workers of the Northern Lights division bring us more unbelievable cruiserweight action at "STATE OF SHOCK" as fan favourite RIP IMPACT faces veteran international star HENTAI. The UNION of INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS returns to Royal Canadian Legion Hall #101 in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday October 6th for "STATE OF SHOCK". Doors open at 630pm. Bell time is 7pm. The Legion Hall is located at 3850 Lake Shore Blvd West , midway between Dixie Road and Brown's Line and directly adjacent to both the Long Branch GO station and the TTC's Long Branch Loop.

This means fans attending the "STATE OF SHOCK" event will be the first in line to purchase this little slice of wrestling history. Steve Corino vs Sterling James Keenan, Pepper Parks vs Ricky Landell, the fearsome debut of Eddie Venom and incredible cruiserweight action featuring El Generico, Rip Impact, Shiima Xion and "Fabulous" John McChesney plus so much more.
