Hardcore Holly correction, live notes from Raw in Milwaukee, 'No Mercy'
On Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 5:29 PM EST Mike sent word that while Hardcore Holly made his return to Raw this past Monday night, he did wrestle at the tapings last week in Nashville working the Heat tapings. Since that show barely gets any publicity by WWE itself online, it slipped my mind.
Nathan S. sent these live notes in from Raw on Monday: The Highlanders were also winners for the Heat Tapings. There were many signs taken away last night, most notably “Got Booker" and “Retest Kennedy." The saddest one was by probably an 8 year old boy who had a 8.5 x 11 inch drawing of the Undertaker with some writing on it, far too small to read…have no idea why they felt the need to take that one. Very mixed reaction for Cena, but loud nevertheless. Huge pop for McMahon when first coming out, but plenty of heat once cutting his promos and his match. Biggest pops were HHH, Jeff Hardy and Hornswoggle. Most heat: Coach, and no one even close. The promo that some speculate may be for Y2J had no clear audio at the arena, and those around us just thought it was a technical problem for a promo showing during the television commercial break.
Anthony Mogannam sent word about a commercial still running for No Mercy promoting John Cena vs. Randy Orton and Batista vs. The Undertaker. I've seen the commercial as well as it appears the company had different plans before going with Batista vs. Khali instead.
