According to a new report by PWInsider, the belief at this point is that Chris Jericho has indeed signed a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. Sources within TNA Wrestling have confirmed that negotiations with Jericho stalled not long ago when the "Save_us.222" videos began to air on WWE programming, indicating that he has backed away from all talks with the company who were hoping to bring him on board with the new two-hour deal on Spike.

It remains to be seen when Jericho will be returning to the company, with the "Save Us" promos indicating a possible return at No Mercy this Sunday in Chicago. Given the recent injury to John Cena this week, you would think the company would be trying to produce something big now that their biggest star will be out of action for the next six months to a year.
