Funk's Corner - New Programs Offered at the Funking Conservatory

With the opening of our new 8000 square foot training facility, we are offering new programs. In addition to professional wrestling we are offering supplemental programs in Amateur Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts or more known as MMA.

These programs are optional and are integrated with our professional wrestling training program.

Yesterday, Tuesday October 2nd marked our first training session in the new facility. Included in the building is our state of the art professional ring, a six sided mixed martial arts ring, multiple amateur wrestling mats, a huge video screen, seating for 300 people in comfort and even a snack bar serving hot food and drinks.

Now on our website we have the first photo of the new Funking Conservatory Training Center. We have a lot of work to do which will be completed well in advance of our first !BANG! TV Taping.

Our first show is October 28th " The Great Big Show"
with special Guest Rocky Johnson. Rocky's son, Dwayne Johnson has the #1 HIT MOVIE "The Game Plan". It is brilliant and Funny and a good fun night out for the whole Family.

Here are the results from the East Coast Pro Wrestling show on Sunday, September 30th at North Sydney Forum in Nova Scotia, in front of more than 500 fans: Titus pinned Julien Young, Sidewinder pinned Zero, Lincoln Steen defeated Adam DeJusus, Gary Williams & Tommy Ozborne defeated Jamie Hamilton & Sexton Phoenix, Scott Savage & Purity Saint defeated Chris Madison & Krysta Lynn Scott, Kowboy Mike Hughes defeated Duke McIsaac to become ECPW Heavyweight Champion, Tito Santana defeated Robert Roode.

Here are the results from Saturday night's SuperGirls Wrestling show in Vancouver, BC in front of 110 fans: Angel Williams beat La Supa Chika; Azeem made an open challenge, Kong accepted. Kong then destroyed Azeem; Penny Lane beat Nikki Matthews via DQ when the Super Boys (Scotty Mac and Sid Sylum) attacked. Bishop and Idol made the save. 6-person match for later; Veronika pinned Madison to retain her SuperGirls Title; Penny Lane/Aaron Idol/Cole Bishop beat Super Boys/Nikki Matthews when Bishop did his Bishop Bomb on Scotty, and Penny Lane pinned him; Madison pinned Angel Williams; Amazing Kong pinned Veronika Vice in a NWA Woman Title match. Kong gave her respect after the match and left. Super Boys/Nikki and Angel hit the ring and did a beat down. Kong made the save and ended the show by Powerbombing Scotty onto Sid.
