I was at the Dream Reunion convention this weekend in Kokomo, Indiana. Things went great although there were some no-shows at the event. Apparently the promoter failed to come through on deals with some talent. Jim Cornette, Jerry Sags, Jerry Lawler, Brian Christopher, Steve Williams were among the no-shows. I was long gone before it all ended but I did hear that police were called because their was a problem with wrestlers not getting paid. Typical indy crap. Anyway, there were still alot of talent there. I was surprised to see Jessica Hatch from the diva search there. She flew in on her own which was nice to see. She was very nice to everyone and I spoke with her for a few minutes regarding the current product. There are some pictures of the reunion at her website at this link. There are pictures there of Baby Doll, Al Snow, Marty Jannety, Midnight Express, Brian Knobs silliness (!!!) and others.

RESULTS FROM THE UNION'S TORONTO DEBUT: BORN AGAIN

The UNION of INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS presented the second of its new monthly events in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this past Saturday night with an event entitled STATE OF SHOCK. Here are the results...

RIP IMPACT pinned HENTAI

THE OLSEN TWINS pinned THE WILD STALLIONS

BRODIE LEE pinned ETHAN PAGE

BRODIE LEE pinned REGGIE MARLEY

THE ALL-KNIGHTERS pinned THE FLATLINERS

THE MASKED HIDEOUS BLOB pinned EDDIE OSBOURNE

JOHN McCHESNEY pinned SEBASTIAN DARK

STERLING JAMES KEENAN pinned RICKY REYES

In major news from "STATE OF SHOCK", the mystery of the new faction in the Union was revealed at the very beginning of the show as JESSY JONES announced the formation of his new management company: The JONES OMNISPORT CORPORATION. Later, Jones introduced the J.O.C.'s first client, "Big Rig" BRODIE LEE. The 6'7" Lee made quick work of youngster ETHAN PAGE before Jones demanded more competition for his new man. Lee then took out veteran worker REGGIE MARLEY to complete the double-header.

After the show, Jessy Jones promised that he would not only be adding more clients to the J.O.C. roster in the Union but that Jones Omnisport would be looking to add clients in other sports.

"Fabulous" JOHN McCHESNEY earned his place in November's title tournament the hard way by hitting a vicious Death Valley Driver on SEBASTIAN DARK off the ring apron and through a table to gain the pinfall in a no-disqualification grudge match. So the last-ever champion of the original Union moves on for a chance to become the next Union champion. In the meantime, the first-ever champion must, once again, climb the ladder of contenders from the bottom rung if he hopes to regain the championship gold.

EDDIE OSBOURNE, who went on a rampage to complain about poor refereeing costing him a second Union match, was granted a spot in the tournament, if only to shut him up. "They call this promotion 'The Union'? Well, I filed a Union grievance", Osbourne said afterwards. But how will Osbourne fare in the ring amongst a field of wrestlers who had to fight their way into the tournament and a staff of referees he's been publicly calling "incompetent"?

Former Ring of Honor Tag Team champion RICKY REYES fell just short in his Union debut again STERLING JAMES KEENAN but has vowed to return to the Union to avenge this loss and hopefully challenge for the about to be crowned World Heavyweight title.
