Charlotte Observer: Ric Flair files lawsuit against S.C. auto dealer, more
On Monday, October 8, 2007 at 4:31 PM EST The Charlotte Observer has an article up about Ric Flair filing a lawsuit against Stivers Automotive of Columbia Inc. due to its Freedom Suzuki dealership using his name, likeness and slogans in radio, TV and print ads this year without his permission.
According to the article, Flair filed the lawsuit last Thursday in the U.S. District Court in Columbia and is asking for "actual and punitive damages of more than $75,000 - the threshold for filing federal lawsuits when one of the parties lives out of state."
