Julian R. sent in the following live report from last night's No Mercy PPV in Chicago:

Hey Guys, I was at No Mercy in Chicago last night. I was very happy with the show and felt that I got my moneys worth. The Chicago crowd was hot all night long. Well, lets get this review started.

Thumbs Up Show for sure

Best Match: Last Man Standing Match

Worst Match: CM Punk vs.. Big Daddy V

We start off with Vince McMahon and Coach coming out. The crowd wanted Y2J, there were signs for him all over the place. Chicago was really into this opening segment and the first match. Triple H got a HUGE pop. The crowd loved the finish of the 1st title match.

Next is the "bonus" 6-man tag match. Jeff Hardy got probably one of the biggest pops of the night. Short but fun match, crowd wasn't into this match as much as the first match but Chicago was still hot for this match.

CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V is coming up. Crowd doesn't really know Big Daddy V (probably because not many people have Sci-Fi around here) but he still gets a little bit of heat. CM Punk got a good sized pop probably because he's from Chicago. Shortest match I've seen in a long time but crowd hated V after the finish. Nobody understood why Striker interfered.

Nobody seemed to care about the pizza eating contest but everybody seemed to enjoy MVP on the mic. MVP has some good mic skill.

The 2nd title match of the night, HHH vs. Umaga, is up now. HHH still gets a big pop even though it was smaller than his first pop. Crowd wasn't quite as hot as it was all night but still into it. An ok match but crowd LOVED the pedigree.

Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay. We all wanted to see this match. Match was really good, the finish was great. Everyone thought Finlay was legitimately hurt because the trainers put up the "X" with their arms. That usually means there is a legit injury. Crowd showed Finlay support by chanting his name but got MAJOR heat when he got off the stretcher and attacked Mysterio.

We did not see the Jericho screen promo before the women's match. I thought that was interesting.

Next up is the women's title match. I can't really tell you what happened, this was my bathroom break. But I could hear lots of cheers and boos, from the bathroom it seemed like the corwd was even into this.

Punjabi Prison match. Wow, this thing was a beast to look at. Batista was greeted to a monstrous pop, but not the biggest of the night. This match was tough to see beyond the "bamboo". Crowd hated when Khali got that strap. Everyone was into the door opening sequence and the cage climbing sequence between the two of them but, died out when Khali was climbing by himself. Batista got up and started climbing and the crowd went nuts again. When Batista jumped from cage to cage the crowd went INSANE!!! We loved the race ending and were happy to see Batista walk away with the championship. One of Khali's best 2 matches.

Final match is Last Man Standing. Let me start off by telling you, everyone expected Jericho to come out during this match. He never showed and everyone, you could tell, was disappointed. Triple H still got a big pop even though it was his third time coming out. Crowd was still hot for this match as they were all night. This match was a great one, with all the 9 counts. Great back and forth match. Crowd went crazy every time Triple H managed to stand up. We thought Triple H was done after being RKO'd on the chair but, he got up and managed to keep fighting. Chicago absolutely loved this match. Great ending sequence with Randy Orton's RKO onto the table. We were into that too. After the show ended Triple H left to cheers and applause.

Just a couple notes. I was glad to go to the first really good WWE pay per view in like 3 PPV's. Chicago was hot all night long, for every match. A quality WWE showing. My seats were 8th row floor seats. Great seats. Great show.

Biggest Pops:
1) Triple H
2) Jeff Hardy
3) Batista

Biggest Heat:
1) Randy Orton
2) Finlay (after the stretcher sequence)
3) Vince McMahon
