MMAWeekly.com has an article up featuring comments from IFL commissioner Kurt Otto stating that negotiations with current TNA World Champion Kurt Angle are ongoing and that it is likely he could join the MMA company while balancing his pro wrestling career.

"I’m psyched. He’s pretty open about it, which is good. We’re in talks. We’re excited about the opportunity. Kurt Angle really wants to come on board. He wants to learn MMA and he wants to come to the IFL specifically because of the team format because he’s used to that," said Otto.
