Here are the results of the Stampede wrestling show (Friday night) in Calgary Alberta.

Carrot Adams retained the Young Lions Cup over Mahatma Dhandi, The Highlander b. The Model Derrick Cross, Ravenous Randy b. Retch Worthington, The A Team ratained the International Tag Team Championships over The Funky Bunch, Chris Steel retained His North American Heavy weight Championship over Tiger Raj Singh, and Gama Singh jr., Chucky Blaze retained the British Commonwealth midheavy weight Championship in a over the top battle royale against: T-Bone, Pete Wilson, Carrot Adams, Scotty the Body Putty, Dusty Adonis, Micheal Avery, Marky Mark, Phoenix Taylor, Dan Myers, Alex Plexis, and Brandon Van Danielson.

Next show is October 26th at the Bowness Sportsplex at 7:30 with Chucky Blaze defending against T-Bone, and Chris Steele defending against Ravenous Randy.

British National Championship Coming To A Venue Near You In 2007 & 2008!

» IPW:UK have always been at the top of the food chain for innovation in British wrestling, be it innovative match types like the Brawl @ The Hall, or the Iron Fist match, or be it innovative pairings of wrestlers and exciting pro wrestling contests, but The British National Championship takes innovation and gutsy to new levels.

For 12 months IPW:UK will present to fans a year-long, 60 man tournament filled with the best of British, in singles match-ups some of which are bound to be instant classics, and some of which you would never normally see under the IPW banner, giving new wrestlers from around the country chances to stake their claim alongside the IPW regulars.

Be it in Orpington or Buckland, Hull or Sittingbourne, you will see each round un-fold in its entirety.

In the opening contest of the tournament we saw ‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm defeat ‘The Misfit’ Jorge Castano in a great contest, making Storm the first wrestler qualified into the second round (joining seeded wrestlers Andy Boy Simmonz, Sam Slam, Terry Frazier and Sha Samuels).
