Dark Match report before Bound For Glory, wrestlers to confront Carter?
On Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 8:21 PM EST PWInsider is reporting that The Motor City Machineguns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) defeated Joey Matthews (formerly Joey Mercury in WWE) & Johnny Swinger and Ms. Brooks defeated a local radio DJ in Dark Matches before the Bound For Glory PPV taking place right now in Atlanta, GA.
It's interesting to note that according to a report by The Pro Wrestling Torch, "fireworks" were expected behind-the-scenes at TNA's Bound For Glory PPV today in Atlanta as some top wrestlers were planning to confront TNA President Dixie Carter about the current creative and management structure in the company at this time. A majority of the complaints were expected to be directed at Jeff Jarrett. The top wrestlers that were said to be interested in confronting Carter included Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Team 3D and Christian Cage. There is said to be lots of frustration within TNA over the booking, including some decisions made for the first few two-hour editions of Impact over the last two weeks. As it has been for some time now, Jarrett is the person who sets all creative agenda that is followed by Dutch Mantel and Vince Russo.
