According to Central Florida News 13, 44,000 tickets were sold for WrestleMania 24 yesterday. WWE had initially reported that 41,000 tickets for the event were sold in just 30 minutes. PWInsider is reporting that the final setup for the show was set to feature 65,000-70,000 fans. The show is already the highest grossing event in Citrus Bowl history.

Jeff sent this in: WWE.com is reporting that 41,000 tickets have sold for Wrestlemania as of about 10:30am this morning, which is the on-sale day. I did buy tickets Thursday via the pre-sale (and thank you to Wrestleview for providing the correct password). The WWE must've limited their pre-sale tickets, because the best available on Thursday were $95 seats in the 229 section, and as of last night were $50 seats in the upper end zones. As of Saturday, there best pair of tickets available are $245 seats in the concourse of the field (F41).
