Alex Bryer sent this in: I was recently watching the New York Rangers hockey game on the MSG network in New York. After the game concluded it went to the MSG post-game show hosted by none other than "The Coach" Jonathan Coachman. I was shocked to see this as I didn't know he worked outside the WWE as well. Coach did highlights from several sports including baseball, football and basketball in an ESPN style commentary.

Darryn sent this in: I got the new Undertaker 15-0 DVD a couple of days ago at Wal-Mart and the DVD comes with a bonus disc that is a game preview of Smackdown vs. Raw 2008.

Dave N. sent this in: In America over the past few months, RAW, SmackDown and ECW as a whole have taken a ratings dip, with RAW now ranging in the 3.2 range compared to the 3.9 range they were averaging in June. The same is also happening here in the UK. According to http://www.barb.co.uk/ BARB, which provides the ratings, here are the average calculations for May in thousands according to their figures (first showing only):

RAW: 72,750
SD!: 97,000
ECW: 47,000

So from the figures, you can tell that SmackDown!, unlike in America, outperforms RAW by some margin. These seem like good figures, but October's figures are much lower:

RAW: 59,000
SD!: 58,000
ECW: 34,000

As you can tell, SmackDown! has taken a huge dip, losing nearly half of their audience. Although RAW has (only just) overtaken SmackDown! in the ratings, it too is down on May's figures, taking a similar trend compared to the situation on the States. Given the Sky Sports' contract with the WWE expires in 2009 I believe, it will be interesting to see if they renew. Its pretty obvious that the bad publicity that WWE has got over the past few months has taken a significant knock, not only in the States, but in the UK too.
