PWO returns with an ALL NEW episode of PWO TV the week of November 17!
On the special rebroadcast of the debut episode you will see the following…
“M-Dogg 20" Matt Cross vs. “Fabulous" John McChesney
Two of the fastest rising stars in independent wrestling today will meet one-on-one for the glory and recognition of being named the victor in Pro Wrestling Ohio’s first ever main event. One athlete, Matt Cross, has been a staple of professional wrestling in the Cleveland area for years, and after his pay-per-view debut with Ring of Honor just weeks ago, arguably the biggest star it has produced in the modern era. M-Dogg is a physical marvel, a former professional gymnast, who brings a level of agility, balance, and quickness seen nowhere else in professional wrestling. He’s been dubbed the “Innovator of Aerial Insanity", for not only using, but perfecting, countless high-risk death-defying offensive moves. His rival John McChesney has also been on a meteoric rise, throughout the tri-state area and beyond. The Fabulous One has captured championship gold throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York, and has made his mark nationally in memorable appearances on WWE Raw, Smackdown, and TNA Impact. M-Dogg 20 and John McChesney will meet one-on-one on PWO’s debut broadcast November 3!
V Squared vs. Cut Throat Crew
The excitement and unpredictability doesn’t stop with the main event, as two of the area’s brightest, fastest, and most breathtaking tag teams will be on display against one another. One team features an established commodity and a wildcard: Former tag champion Virus and his conspicuous tag partner: Virus Grande? Virus Grande is a change from Virus‘ usual Q&A partner Unknown, currently out nursing an injury, but will these two masked marvels be on the same page for their PWO debut? On the other side of the ring, very unorthodox and very unusual, but also very talented… The Cut Throat Crew. Their name really says it all, as these athletes bring a very cutthroat, ruthless, and also very exciting style to the ring. Their intensity and mindset is an attitude not seen since the days of angry bloodthirsty pirates patrolling the high seas. The Cut Throat Crew have used that pirate-esque lifestyle as the basis for their careers, and it’s led to nothing but success. Will this gang of thieves be successful in their PWO debut or will V Squared put an end to their swashbuckling ways?
Johnny Gargano vs. Gregory Iron
On August 5, 2007, Gregory Iron, the most inspirational athlete in Ohio, an athlete who has persevered through personal hardship and physical deformity in the form of cerebral palsy to press on, grow stronger, and follow his dream of being a pro wrestler, almost saw his career and life itself come to an abrupt and ugly end. A severe concussion following a brutal in-ring beating left Iron with bleeding in the brain and a future filled with uncertainty. For over two months, Gregory Iron recovered, trained, and balked at the doctors who told him he had no choice but to retire. PWO’s debut broadcast is Gregory Iron’s grand return to center stage, to do the one thing he’s dedicated his life to achieve… however, his return match pits him against one of the most selfish, thoughtless, and most talented men on the roster, a very dangerous combination. That man is Johnny Gargano. A 20-year-old prodigy who has already accomplished more than most athletes twice his senior, Gargano will no doubt do anything it takes to make his mark and become noticed in PWO, at the expense of Gregory Iron’s well-being, career, or potentially his life. Will Gargano use Iron to make the ultimate statement or can Gregory Iron prove that that which does not kill you only makes you stronger?
PLUS: The PWO debut of the unorthodox Hobo Joe, plus an appearance from Josh Prohibition, and more! Remember, the action gets underway at two special times: PWO hits the airwaves this Saturday late-night at 2:00 am. However, for those that may not prefer the late-night hour, the show will be rebroadcasted this Sunday night at 10:00 pm. That's two great opportunities to witness the launch of the most action-packed 60 minutes on television today!

The show started with a visit from Club Carnage. Quinson Valentino, Lance Malibu, Pasquali & Angelo "Iceman" Szili, "Mr ELB" Mark Krieger and manager Xavier Sterling. Valentino took the mic and stated that Brodie Lee was not there to challenge for the WCCW Heavyweight title. Valentino also said that fans might notice Club Carnage was missing someone, namely WCCW Heavyweight Champion, Blackjack Phoenix.
Valentino said Blackjack was a pussy who was no longer needed in Club Carnage. Quinson went on (and on) to say that Blackjack was injured and couldn't defend his title anyway so it should go to the #1 contender... him! He demanded Phoenix come to the ring and give him the title.
Blackjack came out and announced that it was the support of the fans that kept him going when he was injured on his European tour. He said the only way Quinson or any Club Carnage member would get his title is if they pried it "from [his] cold dead hands."
Club Carnage immediately attacked him and beat the crap out of him, specifically targeting his injured shoulder. Rex Atkins, Chris Laplante & Jimmy "Jam" Olsen drove the heels off and helped Phoenix from the ring.
1) The Unholy Ryot w/ Damian def Crystal Beach Maniac
Ryot had little trouble destroying the masked local guy. In a strange twist, Damian left Ryot's side during the match and appeared on the video screen after Ryot had pinned Maniac. Damian said something about Ryot not being good enough and introduced his demise... a guy called The Deacon.
While Ryot stood in the ring and watched the video Damian and The Deacon appeared at ringside. With no official or announcement, Ryot and Damian fought for 5 or 6 minutes before Damian appeared to have destroyed the Unholy one (or at least knocked him out.) Damian & The Deacon left and Ryot eventually sat up ala Undertaker and left the ring.
Fans seemed confused about Ryot's status... To cheer for or not to cheer for? He's been a moster heel, destroying all who faced him and has never courted favor from the fans. Inexplicable attacks against him from unknown assailants (last month by some "Duncan" guy and tonight by The Deacon) plus the late appearance at his side by the mysterious Damian and the betrayal by same at this show have painted the Unholy one as a very unlikely victim.
**
Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling returned to the ring and demanded the Heavyweight title be given to him since Blackjack was now positively injured and unable to compete. The wizard of id announced that WCCW management had determined the title was in fact vacant at that time but Quinson would have to earn it by winning a 4 man tournament starting "right now"
2) WCCW Heavyweight Title Tournament, Round 1: Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling def The Wild Stallion.
This Wild Stallion was NOT one of the local Wild Stallions. Hailing from San Diego, California, this tassled masked wrestler gave Quinson a stiff challenge in a hotly contested match. Valentino got the win and the advance to the finals by blatantly holding the ropes during the pin.
3) WCCW Heavyweight Title Tournament, Round 1: Jimmy "Jam" Olsen def Colin Olsen
Brother vs brother in this surprising Indy Dream match as the Olsen Twins battled in amazing contest of mat based grappling that busted out into a mind boggling display of high flying. Colin's nose was bleeding pretty good by match end but the respect between the brothers was obvious and their handshake & mutual props to each other at the finish were roundly applauded. Best match of the show.
4) The Killer Steves def Club Carnage (Version - Lance Malibu & "Mr ELB" Mark Krieger w/ Xavier Sterling)
Very fast paced match that saw the hated Club Carnage fall to the team from Florida. The Killer Steves looked and acted like a team with far more effectiveness than Malibu and new CC member Krieger. Fans were right into it despite the action not quite clicking into the "good match zone." Decent enough debut for The Killer Steves & here's hoping they return.
5) Rex Atkins & "Go Time" Chris Laplante def Club Carnage (Version - Pasquali & Angelo "Iceman" Zsili w/ Xavier Sterling)
Pasquali cut a promo about how WCCW and Canada keep screwing the Zsili family. Notable by his absence: Dino Zsili; a fact Pasquali attributed to WCCW management and Canadian Government shenanigans.
Referee Stan Magnum had his hands full in this one as the Zsili family members worked an awesome old school bag of tricks to isolate and punish Atkins for the bulk of the match. When Laplante finally made the tag things quickly turned into a wild in and out of the ring brawl. Atkins eventually pinned Pasquali as Angelo and Laplante battled beyond the curtain.
Note - Angelo "Iceman" Szili is the "Ice" that has been wrestling of late in Southern Ontario but NOT the "Ice" from the West Coast who wrestled here last year.
6) WCCW Heavyweight Championship, Tournament Final: Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling def Jimmy "Jam" Olsen to become the new WCCW Champion.
A great match made even better by the divergent styles of the combatants. Olsen had to deal with inteference from Sterling throughout the early going but had a strong rally going near the end.
Then referee Bruce Davis got squashed and things got crazy. Club Carnage members flooded the ring and attacked Olsen. Phoenix, Laplante and Atkins rushed out to make the save. The ref woke up to see a wild brawl outside the ring and Valentino dominating Olsen inside. Valentino pinned Olsen with a handful of tights to win the match and the title.
A good show that gave fans the opportunity to see wrestlers unknown to most of Ontario. WCCW shows are full of surprises... Last month was an unannounced wrestling appearance by Brutus Beefcake; this time around Olsen vs Olsen (also unannounced.)
