Dutch Mantel book up for bid on eBAY, Jericho on 'Fox News' and Yahoo |

Dutch Mantel sent this in: You can now bid and win the ORIGINAL self published copy of "Dirty Dutch's Little Handbook for Wrestling Junkies" now up for auction on eBay. The auction ends in two days.
The book was totally written (no ghost writers here) and self published by Dutch in 1997 and was only available at that time by online order through Dutch himself. Anyone that has ever met him or heard his commentaries knows he has a keen sense of humor and if wrestling hadn't have worked out for him, Dutch could easily have found his way to a comedy stage.
A sampling of the book's chapters include:
Undertaker/Dutch ( the I-65 Fiasco) This is about an incident when Dutch and the Undertaker were stopped by the Kentucky State Police at gunpoint! True story.
Macho Man meets Lassie. This is about a night when Macho Man Randy Savage was first breaking into the wrestling business and ran head on with a Nashville Police Dog. Savage at his true maniacal best...and the dog isn't bad either. True story..true outcome.
A Southern Classic- The tale of the Stinky Indian. About an Indian wrestler who was warned to take a bath and didn't and then what the consequences were. This is a story that can only happen in the wild world of pro wrestling. True again.
The Worst Show I Was Ever On about a show Dutch was booked on in Mississippi which Dutch learned later was an old Indian term for trailer park. Dutch wishes this wasn't true.
So You Want To Be a Wrestler, Huh? A short story about two young out of shape 20 somethings who thought that wrestling was easy and that anybody could do it. Dutch gave them their workout...and ended when they both fell out from exhaustion.
From the Ring to the Pulpit to the Bank. Dutch's personal view on wrestling and religion and the ones who make the jump from a wrestling ring to a church pulpit.
Dutch also talks about the hardest he has ever been hit, wrestling in other countries, shoot fighting in Japan "masked" as professional wrestling, as well as many other inside tidbits plus a few jokes or two.
Plus much more.
This is a one of a kind copy. The winning bidder will have the book personally autographed by Dutch himself. As Dutch would put it..if you can't dazzle them with brilliance...befuddle them with BS!!!

Steven Alexander sent this in: This upcoming Saturday, Chris Jericho will be appearing on FOX News' Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld at 10PM ET to promote his book. The show is a fastly rising popular late night program hosted by conservative blogger Greg Gutfeld which has been described as a cross between Letterman and Steven Colbert and The View. Others appearing on the program will be Maxim Girl Savana Samson, FOXNews.com's Anna Gilligan, Comedian Kira Soltanavich, and actor Michael Madsen. This will be the second time a professional wrestler has appeared on Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld. SmackDown!'s Rey Mysterio appeared the week before SummerSlam this year to promote his return to the ring. He had appeared earlier on other FNC programs talking about the Benoit Tragedy and they got him to stay for a segment of Redy Eye which they tape during the evening and air at 3AM ET weekdays and 10PM ET on Saturdays.
Steven Alexander also sent this in regarding top searches on Yahoo: WWE: 421 day in the top 20, dropped from 8th to 6th most searched in the overall searches. Nick Hogan: Moved up 1824% in total searches, but isn't in the top 20.
