Nicolas Cage out as star of the film 'The Wrestler', is replaced, and more
On Monday, November 12, 2007 at 3:22 PM EST The Figure Four Weekly is reporting that Nicolas Cage is now out as the star of the upcoming film "The Wrestler" and has been replaced by Mickey Rourke. There remains no word on why this change went down. Cage attended last weekend's Ring of Honor event in New York researching for the role.
