Hey guys, just some notes on Survivor Series
ECW Title Match - Crowd enjoyed this match a lot, crapped all over Morrison and Miz, although many expected a title change. Big pop for CM Punk. Impressive spot saw Punk hit a huricanranna on Morrison from the top rope which sent Morrison into Miz who hit Morrison with a quick powerbomb. Crowd loved that, tiny TNA chant came to nothing.
When Matt Hardy been unable to compete was announced, crowd were not happy to say the least.
Crowd was extremely bored during the tag title match, which is disappointing considering we hardly ever get one on PPV.
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match - Crowd was pumped for this one, and were not happy when Big Vis was eliminated. Not happy when Rey was eliminated, but crowd seemed much happier with Jeff getting the pin on Umaga rather than Triple H taking the spotlight. Pleasant surprise.
Great Khali vs Hornswoggle - Crowd loved the slap from Khali to Little B. The "WE WANT SHAQ" chant was absolutely deafening and most expected him to stand up to Khali, but it was not to be. I think most were shocked when we saw Finlay coming down the aisle to attack Khali.
Randy Orton defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Championship - A lot of people were happy that this wasn't the main event, seems to give Hell in a Cell more of an occasion. Crowd was pretty pumped through this match, and were not surprised with the finish. Loved the sweet chin music afterwards, one of the louder pops of the night.
When the Save_us.222 thingybob aired, there was a lot of whispers that even though that WWE magazine of Jericho has probably been seen by anyone who has an internet connection, that it could be Big Show cause of "BREAK_THE_WALLS" and someone noticed that the clips mentioned ST. Valentines Day Massacre, Big shows debut.
Batista defeated The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell Match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship - A brilliant way to end the night, easily the best match of the night, but was spoilt when some said "look it's Edge, he's a cameraman!" took the novelty of the return off a bit. Everyone was shocked Batista kicked out of the tombstone, if my memory serves me true, Lesnar was the last person to that in Hell in a Cell 5 years ago. When he hit the tombstone on the steps the crowd thought that was it, but was pretty peeved when Edge pulled the ref out of the ring. Crowd not happy with Batista retaining. Great reaction for both after match though, standing ovation for Taker.
