Matt Hardy undergoes emergency surgery in Tampa, out 1 to 3 months
On Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:15 AM EST WWE.com is reporting that Matt Hardy underwent emergency appendectomy surgery on Tuesday night in Tampa, Florida (which is removal of the appendix from the lower right area of the abdomen). The surgery will keep Hardy out of action for 1-3 months.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Hardy did not appear at the Smackdown tapings in Tampa on Tuesday night, indicating that his health issue arose before the tapings.
