BODYSLAM Wrestling Organization Southern State will return to the Hightstown American Legion on Friday Night November 30th, 2007! The event just happens to be named Gold Rush, because on this night we will crown not one, but TWO new Champions!

[ BWO SOUTHERN STATE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION WILL BE CROWNED! ]

* A one night, four man tournament will take place to cap the evening off with one man walking out with the most prestigious title in all of BWO Southern State! There will be two first round matches in the first half of the show, with the respective winners then going onto battle in the Main Event of the evening with the winner being crowned Champion! To make it even more interesting, the four men will not know who their first round opponents are until that night!

The Four men are as follows:
- "Dirty" Don Montoya!
- "Latin Terror" Anhell Gonzales!
- Independent Sensation, Reckless Youth!
- Hightstown's Own, "Modern Day Enforcer" Eric Cooper!

These four men battled it out in an epic tag team match to end BWO Southern State's well-acclaimed debut show! Now these four men will go into Gold Rush not knowing who their opponents will be! It could be partner versus partner! These four men will pull out all the stops, and do whatever is neccessary to make history and become the first Southern State Heavyweight Champion!

[ BWO SOUTHERN STATE PHOENIX CHAMPION TO BE CROWNED! ]

* BWO Southern State officials have also added a second title, known as The BWO Southern State Phoenix Championship. How is the Phoenix
division going to be different from the rest? Very Simple.

Here is a small list of rules that the Phoenix Division will follow:

- 15 minute time Limit for _ALL_ Phoenix Championship & Phoenix division matches!

- If a winner is not decided in that 15 minutes, then there will be a 1 minute rest period, followed by a 5 minute sudden death round. If there is not a winner in that sudden death period, the match will then be declared a draw!

- The Phoenix Championship and Phoenix Division matches will not be decided based on Disqualification and/or Count-outs. It will be decided based on Pin-fall/Submission/Knock-out/Referee's stoppage!

The Phoenix division is going to bring the pire wrestling aspect that Professional Wrestling is most known for. The Phoenix Championship
will be crowned in an Elimination Style Fatal Four Way. It is not known who the fourth man will be, but officials did release the first
three names:

- "Canadian Shooter" Tommy Force w/ JADEN
- Vinny The Fixxer
- Draven Blaze

All three men were victorious at the debut show, and all want to leave Gold Rush as the first Phoenix Champion. You can not forget that one X-Factor, as the fourth man has still yet to be announced! Officials are still trying to pick the fourth man, and have decided that it will not be announced and decided until that night!

[ JUST ANNOUNCED! THE SENSATIONAL ONE HAS CALLED OUT THE REBEL! ]

* BWO Southern State officials just got off the phone with the arrogant and cocky Sensational One (S-1) and he had some very choice words to say for The Rockin' Rebel. S-1 has stated that he will go out at any point in the show, whenever he feels ready to, and he will stand in the middle of the ring and call out The Rockin' Rebel! Rebel is known for never backing down from a fight, and this night shouldn't be any different.

[CRUISER-WEIGHT MADNESS!]

* BWO Southern State Officials wanted to also take it to the air on this evening and have gone out and signed another four way dance. This one
however has different rules:

- One fall to a finish
- Like in prior Four-ways, NO TAGS WILL BE NECCESSARY!

This match promises to be high-flying and extremely action packed! Also whoever wins this match will be in a definite line for a future BWO Southern State Phoenix title shot! The four men in this match will be:

"Puerto Rican Prodigy" Chrono Chris
versus
"Pretty Boy" Eric Hiller
versus
"CK" Corey Kastle
versus
Kekoa 'The Flyin Hawaiian'

=====

[FULL CARD ANNOUNCED!]

[HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE DECIDED! ONE NIGHT TOURNAMENT!]

*Reminder: First Round matches to be decided that evening!*

"Dirty" Don Montoya
"Latin Terror" Anhell Gonzales
Reckless Youth
Hightstown's Own "Modern Day Enforcer" Eric Cooper

[PHOENIX CHAMPION WILL BE CROWNED!]

"Canadian Shooter" Tommy Force w/ JADEN
versus
Vinny The Fixxer
versus
Draven Blaze
versus
??????????

[SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH!]

"Your Hero & Role Model" Steve Off
versus
"Lone Wolf" Evan Myers

ALSO ON THIS NIGHT...

- Richie Rotten & Chaos have promised that they will make their presence felt!

- BWO World Champion Section 8 will be in action! If he is able to hold onto his BWO World Heavyweight Title on Friday November 16th @ Garfield High School, he will put the belt on the line in Hightstown!

- "Dangerous" Danny Danger will continue his open challenge series! Who will answer it on this night?

- "Da Remix of Pro Wrestling" Vince Steele will also be on hand! Last time we saw an angry Vince Steele leave Mike Notar for dead! What are his plans this time?

STATE OF THE UNION #19

UIPW News for 19 Nov 2007

HEADLINES

~ Four UNION Workers prepare for the "First To Be First"

~ The 1st Annual NORTHERN LIGHTS CLASSIC is coming

"FIGHT TO BE FIRST" MINI-TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS "END OF DAYS"

The end of days is fast approaching. "END OF DAYS" will be UIPW's final show of 2007 and the UNION plans to go out on a high note. In the main event of the evening, STEVE CORINO will make his first defense of the UNION Heavyweight title. Corino faces off against SEBASTIAN DARK. This match promises to be an all-out brawl of biblical proportions as Dark has finally scratched, clawed, lied and cheated his way back to a shot at the championship belt he lost over 4 years ago. Can Corino survive the onslaught of "The Bastard Son of 1,000 Corpses"?

Either way, the winner of the main event will get a glimpse of his own future as the UNION will hold a 4-man mini-tournament at "END OF DAYS" to decide the next number one contender to the Heavyweight title. Last week, PEPPER PARKS was announced as the first name in this "Fight To Be First" event. This week, we can reveal the other three.

First, Ontario indy veteran REGGIE MARLEY gets a chance to add UNION gold to his long list of championships. Marley is double-smart and double-tough and an excellent choice for the "Fight To Be First". Reggie's opponent in the first round will be none other than STERLING JAMES KEENAN. The leader of the BDSM was forced to vacate his spot in November's title tournament due to an injury. SJK returns to Toronto in December with domination on his mind.

And then, facing off against Parks will be the returning "New Generation Ace" RICKY LANDELL. Parks and Landell went to a 20-minute draw at the UIPW's first Toronto event, "BORN AGAIN". Now they meet again with more then just pride on the line. The winners of these two matches will then face off for a guaranteed shot at the UNION Heavyweight champion in the balance.

Also scheduled for "END OF DAYS" is a gigantic tag team collision as THE FLATLINERS and THE WILD STALLIONS join forces to take on THE ALL-KNIGHTERS and THE OLSEN TWINS in 8-man action.

The UNION presents "END OF DAYS" on Saturday December 15th at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Etobicoke (3850 Lake Shore Blvd West at Browns Line). There is plenty of free parking for those who drive. The Hall is also directly adjacent to both the Long Branch GO Station and the the TTC's Long Branch streetcar loop, so it's easy to reach via public transit. Doors open at 6:30pm. Bell time is 7pm.

TICKETS are $20 each and are ON SALE NOW at the Legion Hall or via secure online purchase in the "UNION Shop" at www.wrestlersunion.ca. And remember, the event is open to ALL AGES, but for those 19 and older, the Legion Hall includes a FULLY LICENSED BAR. Fans are reminded to bring valid ID and encouraged to use public transit if they plan to purchase alcohol.

COMING THIS JANUARY: THE 1st ANNUAL NORTHERN LIGHTS CLASSIC

On Saturday January 12th 2008, the UNION will crown a new cruiserweight champion when it holds its first annual cruiserweight tournament: The NORTHERN LIGHTS CLASSIC. This one-night, 8-man tournament isn't just UIPW's attempt to bring together some of the greatest cruiserweight talent in the world. More than that, it is our way of honoring a fallen friend.

James Fawcett, who wrestled professionally as DEVIL BHUDAKAHN, was a member of the UNION roster in 2003 and 2004 in Erie, Pennsylvania. As the leader of the DEVIL'S ADVOCATES, alongside GLENN SPECTRE and JAKE GARRETT, he was co-holder of the first-ever UNION Tag Team champions. Fawcett was found dead in his suburban Pittsburgh, PA home on July 15th 2007. Jimmy grew through out his career to be a tremendous source of advice and encouragement to those with whom he shared both the ring and the locker room.

In memory of our comrade, the winner of each year's NORTHERN LIGHTS CLASSIC will be awarded the JAMES "DEVIL BHUDAKAHN" FAWCETT Memorial Trophy. The UNION wishes to extend our deepest thanks to the Fawcett family for their permission to honor Jimmy in this manner.

Next week, we will release the names of the first two participants in this exciting showcase tournament.
