Update on TNA/Sting - why he may have wrestled his last match already
On Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 5:48 PM EST PWInsider is reporting that there has been no new movement between Sting and TNA Wrestling regarding Sting accepting the new contract offer for a return in 2008. Sting had been scheduled to work both of TNA's Mexico events this month, but with the company cancelling the events this week due to poor ticket sales, it appears the Genesis PPV was Sting's last appearance for TNA this year and maybe ever.
Update 6:00 p.m. ET: We've heard rumblings that TNA and Sting may work out a deal for him to remain with the company in 2008, but in a more limited role that would treat his appearances as more special when he shows up.
