A classic pro wrestling movie is being remade for the big screen right here in Philadelphia, PA. The 1974 movie, "The Wrestler" starring Mickey Rourke is currently in production and you can be a part of it.

Several scenes for the movie will be filmed on Friday, February 8th at the New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The New Alhambra Arena is more commonly known as the old ECW Arena and is one of the most famous wrestling arenas in North America.

Wrestling fans are needed as extras for the movie. Fans must be available at 3PM, February 8th at the New Alhambra Arena. The only catch is that you must buy a ticket for Combat Zone Wrestling's show the following night at the New Alhambra. Additional scenes will be filmed for the movie during CZW's show on February 9.

ROB VAN DAM TALKS RVD TV, MMA AND THE DISAPPOINTMENT CAUSED BY THE NEW ECW

"The Whole F'n Show" Rob Van Dam was the guest on the most recent edition of PWB's Official Podcast with Lex and Ian, located at http://www.pwbpodcast.com. In an unfiltered, 20-minute interview, Mr. Pay-Per-View addressed several topics:

On RVD TV:

"Basically it's genuine, it's honest, it's as real as it gets. I have a camera following me doing stuff that I do in my real life...so now I wanna share a lot of the real me with my fans and other people that are interested, on RVD TV you see the real RVD, you see me working out, you see me interacting with people on the streets in Hollywood or Venice Beach here in California, and sometimes we plan out a little adventure, go on it, it's fun, I have a lot of friends that are famous as well..."

On a potential MMA career:

"I like to train, I'm a big fan of MMA, first off you know and I like to train, I've always been a fighter and I work out with Justin [McCully] and Samoa Joe. In fact that is this weeks episode of RVD TV on Friday, you get to see me, Justin and Samoa Joe mixing it up and training. But as far as actually going professional status or you know pursuing that as a career, that's not something I see me doing, I have my energy put into a lot of other things that I think are gonna keep me busy. Now if mixed martial arts had have been around when I was 18 years old, then forget about it, you couldn't stop me."

On his departure from the WWE:

"It definitely is the case, I have a wide open door to return to WWE, in fact when I chose to not re-sign back in June, they were very much in high hopes that after two or three months that I'd be ready to return. I knew it was gonna take at least six, maybe 12 months before I'd even be ready to come back, and that is what I told them, but I left with the door open, we're on great terms, they're hoping that I'll be ready to talk business again real soon."

On how disappointed he was with the watering-down of the ECW brand:

"Probably more disappointed than anything else related to wrestling in my entire career...When I mentioned the idea to Vince about doing the One Night Stand reunion show where the ECW alumni could be seen the way we wanted to be seen again just for one night, he [Vince McMahon] went for it, he thought it was a great idea...So of course when I saw it all spiraling downhill I was extremely disappointed and I was kicking and screaming, I was fighting it, I was talking to Vince and saying the ECW fans aren't gonna go for this, you can't do this and this, and I would hear such ridiculous things back like, ‘Rob no-one remembers the original ECW.' I said, ‘you gotta be kidding me, you really believe that, didn't we bring it back based on the success of that PPV and ECW DVD?' and I heard, ‘for all I know Rob those 2500 fans in New York City are the last of the old ECW fans.' How do you argue with that? You know, it's like talking to a brick wall."

I was surfing the WWE hope page, and came across the Royal Rumble Facts & Figures. They talk about a lot of different stuff on the site that has to do with the Rumble match. Under the Longest Time in the Ring, it talks about how long Rey Mysterio stayed in the ring, but underneath that, it mentions Chris Benoit's time during the 2004 Rumble, and then mentions Bob Backlunds time, during the '93 Rumble. Just found this different, since WWE is not showing Benoit as a winner for the Rumble in 2004 over on their winner side. They don't even have 2004 listed on there. Just found that really weird.
