PWInsider is reporting that the tentative plan for WrestleMania 24 is for Ric Flair's opponent to be Shawn Michaels. Original plans had Flair's current "retirement" storyline coming to a close at WrestleMania. Plans can always change, but according to this new report this plan has reportedly been cleared by Vince McMahon.

We had a report up at this link from Wednesday noting that commercials in the UK were possibly hinting at The Undertaker as a possible opponent for Flair, but the Shawn Michaels scenario seems to make more sense considering the working plan for WrestleMania this year was to do a Edge vs. Undertaker match.

As always, this is all speculation at this point and we will continue to follow the situation as it develops.
