Here is your official preview for Alternative Pro Wrestling tonight at the Royston Gym in Royston, GA. Bell time is 8:15pm. Call 706-680-3234 for more info. Who knows what to expect this week in Royston? Last week, with Owner Jerico Stone out of commission at the hands of Southern States Champion, JT Talent, Mr. Talent called upon himself to call the shots. Will that reign of power continue or has Jerico Stone taken action from the sidelines? We do know this... the people demand justice for JT Talent in APW. The people want revenge for Jerico Stone. The people demand opportunity for Bo Newsom. The unstoppable question here is...will the people get what they want this Friday? The last few weeks things have been really heating up in the situation with Christy Turner and her problems with the "Son of Satan" Azrael and Lloth. What started as a one on one ladies match ended with Azrael dropping Turner right on her head. That didn't set well with Chris King, who has taken on the "Son of Satan" the past two weeks to no avail. Azrael intentionally got himself disqualified in week 1, and had a deranged assist to defeat King in week 2 as Darkness nailed King with "the curb stomp from hell" while the ref was distracted by Turner and Lloth going at each other on the floor. With the new found relationship of Azrael and Darkness combined with the evilness of Lloth, King and Turner were outmatched and were once again left laying. Chris King has made yet another challenge for This Friday Night in Tag Match as he welcomes "Kool" Seth Delay to the fold to take on the evil duo, Azrael and Darkness in this week’s main event. Billy Buck followed along with former tag partner Chris King in being outnumbered last week. Chris Mayne and Kevin Duncan managed to get the best of Buck after he came to ringside to save newcomer Dustin Michaels from an attack after the bell. Buck is said to be beyond "wild" when it comes to getting his hands on Mayne this week. Will Kevin Duncan accept Buck's challenge to face Chris Mayne? The APW Tag Team Champions, The Friday Night Franchise will defend their titles this week rolling in on a huge wave of momentum after pinning former champs Don Matthews and Jeremy Vain in last weeks Main Event. In singles action you will see: The Real Slim J and the "Often Photographed" Dustin Powers. (Larry Goodman)

Southern All-Star Wrestling will be in Millersville, TN, at the Bakery tonight. The main event is Gary Valiant versus Rick Santel; Chris Bomb versus J-5; Lennox Lightfoot & Indian Outlaw defending the SAW Tag Team belts against TVA; Damien Adams defends the SAW TV Title versus Big Rig Bully; Rex Sexton versus Chris Cane; and Arrick Andrews versus Jason James. (Larry Goodman)

Flatline Championship Wrestling is in Grovetown, GA, at Patriots Park on February 23, beginning at 7:00 PM. Admission is $7, but kids five and under get in free. Doors open at 6:30. (Thomas Bugg)

Southern Classic Wrestling's next show will be on February 23 at Big Dog Billiards Hall in Sandersville, GA. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for kids 6-12. Children 5 and under get in for free. In the main event, VIP members Tommy Lee, Big Bank Barfield, and Matt Mercer face off against the SCW team of the SCW Southern Heavyweight champion Bobby Joiner, "Bulldog" TW James and Flatline. Frankie Valentine takes on NWA and Georgia legend, The Masked Nightmare. In a Georgia Heritage title match, SCW ring announcer hired a special assassin to take the champion Loco Motive out of wrestling once and for all. Ace Heffner hired a mystery opponent to wrestle his nephew, Greg Haze. The Freak goes up against Josh Stone. In a SCW Georgia tag team title tournament match to determine the next SCW Georgia tag champions, Chaos & Carnage ("The Real Superstar" CHAOS & "Kid Carnage" Scotty Carmichael) versus The Foreign Legion (Juan Tequila & "The Afghan Oil Sheik" Prince Rhumma) and in another tournament match The Stanton Clan (Adam & Eric) versus Brian "Lightning" Titus & The Psychoman. (Brian Slack)

We posted a card yesterday based on a report from the website of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, who will be in Cheraw, SC, on February 23, at the Cheraw High School, with a bell time is 8:00 PM. The Midnight Express are advertised, but Dennis Condrey contacted us to let fans know he was not booked for the event. However, in a response from the promotion, Bobby Eaton is scheduled. -AIW Home Video will be releasing "The Oncoming Storm" on Sunday. The show which was taped in April of 2007, in Youngstown, Ohio featured the AIW debut of "Havana Pitbull" Ricky Reyes, the AIW Return of "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney and the first ever Tag Team Casket Match. Also, was a "Number One Contender" Tournament featuring the likes of "Big League" John McChesney, The Duke, Romeo Vino and XCarl CrisisX. Plus, the main event which featured Starless VS Tyler Black VS Shiima Xion.

AIW Debuts in Brookpark, Ohio on 2/24/2008 for the rescheduled GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 3!

The show is being held in Brookpark, Ohio @UAW Local 1250, 17250 Hummel Rd, 7PM Bell Time on 2/24/2008.

Already Signed for the huge event:

-NECRO BUTCHER OUT, MAD MAN PONDO IN! MAD MAN PONDO VS. "THE PASSION" JOHN THORNE
Due to transportation issues, The Necro Butcher can't get revenge on Revelation 13's John Thorne. So Agent Aaron Bauer went out and signed Mad Man Pondo to "Oh Snap Inc" on the recommendation of Necro. Necro and Pondo have been both friends and enemies, and there's nobody that could replace the insanity of the Necro Butcher better than Mad Man Pondo. Pondo has been informed of the actions of Revelation 13 by Bauer and Necro, and he's ready to make their war his. With his trusty stop sign, and his legacy of violence will "The Passion" be able to survive Mad Man Pondo?

-30 MAN GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD, The Winner will become ABSOLUTE CHAMPION!
Due to Steve Corino retiring with the Absolute Title, it was vacated and will be up for grabs in the Gauntlet. Last year crowned a new champ, and this year will as well. Somebody will leave as champ but who?

THE FIRST TEN SPOTS IN THE GAUNTLET ARE FILLED:
1. Sterling James Keenan
2. Dios Salvador
3. Matt "MDogg20" Cross
4. Eric Ryan
5. Hobo Joe
6. Luis Diamante
7. TJ Dynamite
8. Rebis
9. Johnny Gargano
10. Mad Man Pondo

-JOHNNY GARGANO ANSWERS TYLER BLACK'S CHALLENGE, JOHNNY GARGANO VS. JOSH PROHIBITION, FIRST TIME EVER!
After teasing Tyler Black for months via the Internet, Johnny Gargano made his AIW return at "Nightmare Before Xmas." He then defeated Tyler's "BFF" Shane Hollister. Gargano has one goal in mind, something that eluded him his entire AIW career and that's the Intense Title. But before he gets his shot, he faces one more road block. We didn't know who the mystery man would be until now, the man is Josh Prohibition. Josh took Tyler Black to the limit at "Nightmare Before XMas" and Tyler picked Josh because of that and how well he knows Johnny from working in other promotions as a tag team with him. Josh, who has same war brewing with Dios Salvador, who he trained, has his sights not only set on the "King Of Cleveland", but also on the Intense Title. Will this be too much for Gargano to overcome in his quest for the Intense Title?

-DIOS SALVADOR AND STERLING JAMES KEENAN BATTLE FOR SPOT NUMBER #30, LOSER GETS SPOT #1
After feuding for months over a shot at Steve Corino, due to scheduling mishaps, neither ever got their shot. But now they are being given a shot at possibly an easy win at the Gauntlet. These men will battle for the right to enter at Number 30. Dios won the number 30 spot last year, but failed to win the title. Could this finally be the year for Dios? Or will SJK be fulfilling the destiny of becoming AIW Absolute Champ? JUST ADDED: Not only will the winner be #30, but the loser will be #1. Obviously, it's in one's interest to win this match, as you have possibly 29 other men to beat by being #1. By being #30, a majority of people will already be eliminated.

-"THE PANTHER" TYRONE EVANS SAYS GOOD-BYE!
Signing with WWE this week, Tyrone Evans leaves Absolute Intense Wrestling. But he will return one more time to say good bye to the AIW fans. Tyrone has never been shy about his feelings or his disdain for the AIW fans. What could he have planned?

-CHRIS CRONUS CLAIMS HE WILL 'HURT SOMEBODY'
Chris Cronus, who since losing at Absolution 2 to "The Deviant" Michael Hutter has a new vision, that being of a Spartan Warrior, took Thrillbilly to the limit at "Tomorrow Never Dies" and destroyed Equinox at "Hell On Earth 3", has asked for a match where "I will hurt somebody bad". Who will be stepping up to fight Cronus?

-MATT "MDOGG20" CROSS'S OPEN CHALLENGE ANSWERED BY MATTHEW JUSTICE!
With his shocking return at "Nightmare Before Xmas" Matt Cross wants to return to the position he once was in, competing for both the Intense and Absolute Titles. Matt took close to a year off from AIW, and came back with a changed attitude and wants to regain the position he once was in. He asked for a match at the Gauntlet, and this match was filled by Revelation 13's member, Matthew Justice! Justice has been on a roll, being a former AIW Tag Champ and beating Hallowicked at Hell On Earth 3, will he be able to beat Matt Cross and move towards title contention?

-NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS FOR THE AIW TAG TITLES DECIDED!
With both of their partners unable to make this event, representing the Switchblade Saints, Matt Riot will battle 1/2 Of The AIW Tag Champs, Nick Belushi. If Matt is able to beat Nick, The Saints will be declared No. 1 Contenders for the belts.

-WOMAN STAR HAILEY HATRED DEBUTS!
AIW has never had a woman's match in their history, so why would Hailey Hatred be coming? What does she have to do with the show? I'm sure we'll know a lot more soon. But it will be very interesting!

AND MUCH MORE!

HOT NEWS

Sterling James Keenan vs. Mr. Wrestling 3 Now For Prestigious Title!
When we first announced that “Iron City Hardcore" SJK would do battle with the latest incarnation of the timeless traditionalist Mr. Wrestling, we had speculated that Sterling had a trick up his sleeve. This week we’ve discovered two. Not only has Sterling re-enlisted the services of Krystal Frost for the evening, Sterling’s original PWX manager in 2002, but he also laid out a challenge (which can be seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6k178N3xK4 ) for Wrestling 3 to put up any of his many championships. MW3 has responded to the challenge, and now March 8 will see SJK battle Mr. Wrestling 3 for the prestigious ZERO1-Max United States Championship, one of the most high-profile championships in the country of Japan. How will the added stakes change the dynamic of this much-anticipated contest of international proportions? How will Krystal Frost factor in now that she is re-united with SJK for the first time in six years?

ALSO ON THE CARD…

Pick Your Partner: Shirley Doe & CJ Sensation vs. Super Hentai & Dirk Ciglar
Shirley Doe and Super Hentai are nearly synonymous with one another thanks to an extremely emotional love/hate relationship that has stretched back several years. Super Hentai was Devil Bhudakahn’s chief rival in the early days of each man’s career. Both men solidified their reputation in the area with high-risk, fast-paced offense with each match turning into a dangerous game of “Can You Top This?". When Devil thought he needed help to put Hentai behind him once and for all, The Hellfire Club was formed, with none other than the madman himself, Shirley Doe, joining Devil as a charter member. On March 8, the rivalry is revisited as Doe and Hentai clash for the first time in nearly five years, with the added high stakes of each man selecting his own tag team partner which will not be revealed until the night of the event. Their last meeting was a Texas Death Match legendary for its brutality. What will Doe and Hentai do to one another this time?

Shirley Doe has opted to choose “Snapshot" CJ Sensation as his tag team partner. Sensation, who was the first man to don the mask and assume the identity of the infamous “Mantis" persona, stood side-by-side both Doe and Devil in The Hellfire Club in their quest to destroy Super Hentai. Hentai now knows old foes are re-aligning for one last shot at destroying him.

Super Hentai has revealed his choice of tag team partner and it’s none other than “The Screaming Climax" Dirk Ciglar! Hentai & Ciglar have a noted history of friendship and fighting alongside one another, but have not teamed together in four years. Will they have the chemistry and continuity to overcome the re-united Hellfire Club? Or will Doe and the original Mantis once again have Hentai’s number?

Dennis Gregory vs. Crusher Hansen
Devil Bhudakahn had a vision of Pittsburgh’s top professional wrestlers and wrestling organizations coming together in support of a good cause. It’s only fitting that in a show dedicated to his memory, that vision become a reality. Such a vision is not represented any better than with Dennis Gregory vs. Crusher Hansen. From his days as Bonecrusher, all the way to his current incarnation, Hansen has been a mainstay and major force in PWX for well over a decade. Meanwhile, Dennis Gregory’s dominance in the International Wrestling Cartel (as well as its predecessor, Steel City Wrestling), can be traced back to over a decade as well. Both men are among the most decorated athletes of their respective home promotion, and are perhaps as synonymous with their home promotion as anybody else, past or present. It’s a one-time opportunity to watch these two Pittsburgh legends meet in a collision of two very different worlds.

PWX Title Match: Scottie Gash vs. Chris LeRusso vs. Bobby Shields
Our original scheduled bout of Gash’s title defense against LeRusso one-on-one was amended this week, following weeks of complaints and protests lodged by a very vocal Bobby Shields. Shields, LeRusso’s former “Steel City Saints" tag team partner, is of the belief his one-time ally has been handed opportunities time after time, while Shields has been cast aside by the powers-that-be. Can the reigning champion Gash overcome the challenge of both of these young lions? Will Bobby Shields prove he was the true star of the Steel City Saints? Or will Chris LeRusso live up to his hype as the fastest rising young star in Pittsburgh today?

Sexual Harassment vs. The Devil’s Advocates
It was the rivalry that dominated tag team wrestling in this area in 2002-2003. A war that saw bones broken, dreams shattered, and two very contrasting lifestyles do whatever it took to become the best in the region. Month in and month out, Devil Bhudakahn led the Advocates into battle against Sexual Harassment, and no matter what the stakes or stipulations, fans were always left with confrontations they would not soon forget. The IWC Tag Team Titles changed hands a staggering five times during this rivalry, a testament to its competitive nature and constant high stakes. On March 8, these two sides collide for the first time in nearly five years, renewing a tag team series still fresh on the minds of all who witnessed it.

“Balls Hot" Troy Lords vs. Jason Gory
Arguably two of the most improved area stars in recent times, both Lords and Gory have taken their game to new heights. For Troy, “Balls Hot" has been “balls to the wall" since rising to the occasion and capturing his first major singles title, the IWC Super Indy Title, in early-2007. The young veteran has pushed himself farther and harder than most in order to prove all his critics that he is truly deserving of his accolades. Meanwhile, Jason Gory has thrived in the tag team ranks, recently capturing the IWC Tag Team Title with partner Shiima Xion, a title he now holds for the second time. Two men who love to push the envelope and take risks, these men definitely embody the spirit and the mindset that Super Hentai and Devil Bhudakahn had during their classic rivalry nearly a decade ago.

Jimmy DeMarco vs. Chris Taylor
Jimmy DeMarco has quickly gained a reputation as perhaps Pittsburgh’s most infamous athlete. DeMarco’s unorthodox actions have led to him being labeled a mental, emotional, social, and sexual deviant. His bizarre tendencies aside, he is also one of Pittsburgh’s most dangerous athletes, and an integral part of the success of The Gambino Family in recent years. His opposition, Chris Taylor, is unparalleled in PWX. A man who shattered records and silenced skeptics when he held the PWX Title for over one year, Taylor has shown an amazing amount of heart and determination, and may be PWX’s most popular athlete. Whether it was his size or the plethora of obstacles put in his way by the evil AWC hierarchy, Taylor always faces challenge head-on. Now he’ll have the challenge of figuring out Jimmy DeMarco on March 8.

CWF Heavyweight Title: The Beast vs. Powerhouse Hughes
The Championship Wrestling Federation, based in southwest Pennsylvania, has been a staple of wrestling in the region for many years, hosting some of the area’s most promising young stars and well-respected veterans. It was also one of the promotions Devil Bhudakahn called home before his tragic passing. CWF will be well represented at the Devil Bhudakahn Memorial Show, as its most dominant champion defends against perhaps its greatest champion. The Beast has dominated CWF since capturing its top prize, gaining a staggering nineteen straight victories. His top student, and perhaps the greatest CWF Champion in history, Powerhouse Hughes, is the current top challenger and looks to reclaim the title he once held for over one full year. It’s the first ever meeting between teacher and student with very high stakes and deep meaning.

Gambino Brothers Open Challenge
They are the most dominant tag team in the region today by far. Four time IWC tag team champions Mickey & Marshall Gambino have made life miserable for all that oppose them. With a ruthless style and cut-throat lawless tendencies, Mickey & Marshall have done everything from gang assaults to home invasions. On March 8, Mickey & Marshall will be in search of competition, for any team in the Pittsburgh area brave enough to mess with the Family. Who will be brave enough to stand up to the challenge?

Special Appearance by Bubba the Bulldog
One of the most infamous and controversial personalities in the history of the area, wherever Bubba goes, news is bound to break. The former and once-again B-94 Morning Show host has accomplished a track record nearly second-to-none. In his PWX days, he fought hard to disprove critics who said he’d never be a success, not only capturing gold but leading his own stable “The Dog Pound". In IWC, he was responsible for the termination of the careers of men like Shane Douglas and Eric Angle. Not to mention numerous WWE cameos throughout the years as well. What does Bubba have in store on March 8th with the eyes of everyone in Pittsburgh looking on?

Special Appearance by Quinn Magnum
Another longtime staple and legendary name in the Pittsburgh wrestling scene, Quinn Magnum at long last returns to the public eye. Magnum spent many years atop the PWX card, capturing championships and forging an indelible reputation. Still one of the most respected veterans in the area, when Quinn Magnum makes his presence known on March 8th, everyone will have no choice but to take notice.

Special Appearance by JT Rodgers
It has been over four years since JT Rodgers has been inside a wrestling ring. In December 2003, he left the world of professional wrestling and, with the exception of a May 2004 cameo, hasn’t looked back. March 8 will be a historic return of a man who dominated tag team wrestling in Pittsburgh in the early part of the decade as one-half of Sexual Harassment. Does JT Rodgers have ring action in his plans for this one-night return? What will happen when JT Rodgers and Eric Xtasy cross paths for the first time in years?
