PWInsider is reporting that there has been discussion within TNA about broadcasting Impact live on Thursday's at the Impact Zone in Orlando, FL very soon.

While it has been described as an experiment at this point since TNA has little background in running live TV (with the exception of the monthly PPV's, which is a whole other monster considering there is no commercial breaks), there is concern that by going live the show may not look as good because of all the post-production work.

If TNA does decide to go forward with broadcasting Impact live, they would run live on a Thursday and then tape next week's show the following day on Friday. TNA is possibly looking at starting this new live TV venture as early as March 27. TNA has been taping Impact at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL since 2004 back in the Fox Sports Net days and then continued well into the Spike TV deal that started a year later in 2005.
