To follow up on today's earlier report about WWE ceasing its affilation with Ohio Valley Wrestling, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that John Laurinaitis was in Louisville this morning to tell everyone about the decision.

This decision wasn't a shock to anyone as it was clear to many that WWE was positioning Florida Championship Wrestling as the company's main developmental territory for some time now. Laurinaitis told all developmental wrestlers under contract that they would be moved to Florida over the next few weeks.

He also thanked Danny Davis for all of his hard work in helping to train top stars like Batista, John Cena and Randy Orton. It should be noted that with WWE ceasing its affiliation with OVW, Al Snow has now been released from the company as he was a trainer for the promotion.
