TNA DVD sales figures, Against All Odds tickets + publicity stunt & ESPN
On Friday, February 8, 2008 at 6:00 PM EST PWInsider is reporting the following DVD sales for TNA releases: The TNA Year One DVD has sold 6,557 copies to date, Bound For Glory 2007 has sold 6,557 copies to date and Genesis 2007 has sold 1,715 copies to date (it was released two weeks ago).
Dan sent this in: Thought you'd like to know, but it looks like Sunday's PPV will be ***HIGHLY*** papered. Ticketmaster and some corporate Bi-Lo Center contacts were releasing for nothing more than the the Ticketmaster fee (around $2). These tickets included the $100 level. This after I spent over $59/ticket that were, of course, non-refundable. BTW, the advance up to the papering was around 1500.
Landon Doane sent this in: It's been reported on the Jim Rome Show that TNA has offered a contract to former Texas Tech & Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight their first ever 'Head Coaching' position. I haven't been about to find it on ESPN, but Rome has mentioned it a couple of times.
