There are reports making the rounds stating that Samoa Joe is either working without a TNA deal right now or that his current TNA deal is set to expire in a few months. Both reports are false and this isn't the first time this has taken place on the internet involving Joe and TNA.

PWInsider has a report up at this link featuring comments from Joe back in October of 2007 where he commented on one rumor about him wanting to leave TNA to sign a developmental deal with WWE paying $50,000. Joe of course shot down the rumor saying it wouldn't make sense for him to work three times as hard for a fraction of what he is making now.

According to a report by Mike Johnson, Joe is described as being "locked up, long term" with TNA through 2010 or 2011. There were also similar reports making the rounds about Team 3D's status with TNA. Despite reports stating otherwise, the team is signed with TNA through September 2008.
