APW, Portuguese Wrestling Association, the leading Pro Wrestling company in Portugal, and the one that broke records in 2007, with the biggest tour of the year, and with the longes running series of show in the last 3 decades in the country is proud to announce the return of it’s flagship event : IMPACTO TOTAL”, but this time, twice as big that the previous, held in 2007 with the presences of Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Team 3D, Christian Cage, Rhino, Aj Styles, Voodoo Kin Mafia, Christopher Daniels, Christy Hemme and Gail Kim, among others.
Herald as “APW IMPACTO TOTAL 2” (APW TOTAL IMPACT 2), it’s line up this year brings to the country, the former Chris Masters, Chris Moore; U-gene, Raven and without a shadow of a doubt, the most sought after free agent in the business today...THE WHOLE F’N SHOW...RVD – ROB VAN DAM !
This will be RVD’s first international wrestling appearence after leaving the WWE last year, and will be a unique chance for the european fans to witness the brand new RVD...no strings attached and no limits.
The shows will happen next March 28th and 29th at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira (Oporto) and Elvas Colosseum.
RVD will face raven at the first night, and Chris Moore on the second night.
These shows will also be special because for the first time the legendary portuguese wrestler, Tarzan Taborda, will be celebrated with a tournament being held in his honor, the 1st annual Tarzan Taborda Cup.
Wrestlers from all over the country will compete for the honor of being called the first ever Tarzan Taborda Cup winner. Qualifying rounds will happen in Spain, March 17th at APW’s Spanish debut, and on the first night of “APW IMPACTO TOTAL 2”; the tournament itself will occur on the second night, and the final match will be contested inside a steel cage, another first in Portugal.
