Update on Mr. Kennedy's current WWE status, + Benoit and WWE 24/7
On Monday, March 24, 2008 at 3:23 AM EST For those wondering why Mr. Kennedy has not been on WWE television or at WWE events as of late, PWInsider is reporting that Kennedy is currently shooting a co-starring role for the action film "Behind Enemy Lines III." The production is a direct-to-DVD sequel to the popular 2001 film.
Corey Steadman sent this in: For what it is worth: The 6/23/97 edition of Monday Nitro had a segment with Roddy Piper and Ric Flair in the ring when Steve McMichael and Chris Benoit come to the ring. While it has not been a surprise that Benoit has been cut from quite a bit of footage, he wasn't in this case and the footage of him putting Piper in the crossface was shown while the beatdown with Flair and McMichael occurred.
