New TNA announcer, location for Slammiversary PPV, + Bound For Glory |

As you may have seen or read, TNA debuted a new announcer named Lauren at the Lockdown PPV this past Sunday. Lauren was hired on behalf of Spike TV as the network wants more women among the backstage segments for Impact. It remains to be seen if Crystal, TNA's other backstage announcer, has left the company.
TNA is expected to announce the location for the Slammiversary PPV by the end of this week. The show is not expected to be held in Nashville as it was last year.
On another PPV location related note, TNA President Dixie Carter was overheard telling fans that Chicago looks to be the top candidate for the Bound For Glory PPV this October.
