Update on Mark Briscoe injury, time out, ROH Tag Title status, and more
On Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 2:16 AM EST Mark Briscoe, who is one half the ROH World Tag Team Champions, will be undergoing surgery on his wrist this Friday. An angle was shot at the Chicago Ridge event with Jimmy Jacobs stabbing him in the wrist. Briscoe will more than likely be out of action for three to six months.
Ring of Honor did announce that instead of holding a tournament to crown new champions, Jay Briscoe will instead pick a partner and defend the titles as the company's champions. Jay's partner is expected to be someone on the current roster who hasn't been named yet.
