Power Trip Wrestling present "Against The World, on Saturday 31st May 2008, and we're back in Stevenage! All the details are below, for the show; but before that we've got the big news to tell you....

LATEST PTW NEWS FOR MAY 31ST'S SHOW:

* The main event for the evening, will be a Cruiserweight 6 man tag team match, but with a special stipulation attached; which is if PTW Cruiserweight Champion G 'The Ghetto Superstar' were to get pinned, the PTW Cruiserweight Title WILL change hands. The two teams are as follows, G 'The Ghetto Superstar' (c), Matt Myers, & Geraden, and they will be facing off against Dan Ryder, Kid Glory, & Danny Devine. This one is set to take the roof off of Marriot's School, will Stevenage ever be quite the same after what is sure to be a high flying, crazy, action filled match?

* For the first time in PTW's history, just over 14 months, we will be having a show without the PTW Heavyweight Champion, Shabazz. Prior engagements are the reason, and PTW's boss, Peter Staniforth; is taking the opportunity given here to have a match to decide who the new number one contender is for the PTW Heavyweight Title. The winner will face off against Shabazz in the very near future, and the match will be a four way match in which anything can happen. The first name into the hat, is the evil and mysterious veteran 'The Dark Angel' Mayhem; who will be accompanied by the morally challenged "100 %" Dan Edge. What we do know, is there are three more names to come, two of them will be chosen normally; and the final name will be Peter Staniforth's personal choice. More details to come on this breaking story....

* The new UWL Champion, 'The Wild Card' Kyle Kraze, has been challenged by a wrestler who stands for morals, class, and abiding by the rules. That man is Wheeler, and he is determined to make the most of this opportunity in PTW, to show that you can do things the right way and be successful. Kraze, as you would imagine, is disgusted by this; and is telling everyone that will listen that he is "not just going to beat Wheeler", but is "going to HURT Wheeler".

The crowd at St. Cecelia's Auditorium came in,
ready to see the all-stars of the
Metropolis Wrestling Federation do battle,
in what was promised to be a night to
remember. The show started off with an over the top
rope Battle Royale, where a new wrestler
would join in every 60 seconds.

The first man in, was "The Last Outlaw" Ron Price,
who would be joined in the ring, by surprise enterant,
Dainja, was supposed to be suspended for 90 days.
As they fought, they were joined
by the likes of Bobby V, Lushious Lance, Hollywood Russell,
Killian Whyte, Corey Thorr, Necro Black, Dirty Dan Dillinger,
K-Von Brown (Another Surprise enterant, who was supposed to be out with an injury), Timothy Plasma, and so on.
The last man standing in the ring, however, was the first man in, "The Last Outlaw", and now, Number 1 contender for the Heavyweight Championship, Ron Price.

The next match was a one on one contest between
Killian Whyte and Corey Thorr, which would have been to crown the first
Light-Heavyweight Champion, but, due to time constraints, the belt was not present.
It didn't take long for this match to get heated, as Killian and Thorr
stood toe to toe, and went fist to face with each other.
Thorr had the upper hand for most of the matchup,
but the Brooklyn Native just wouldn't stay down, as Killian
kept fighting back.
In the end, Killian Whyte scored the pin, and secured the victory.

The match that followed was one
that had most of the crowd standing for the whole match,
as Necro Black was scheduled to take on Dirty Dan Dillinger, one on one.
These two monsters had a earlier run in during the Battle Royale,
in which Dillinger eliminated Necro, they fought to the back,
once Dillinger was eliminated, due to Necro waiting for him on the outside.
These two tried to outpower, outlift, and outwit each other,
as this back and forth match went on.
Necro Black had, at first, secured a victory via countout,
but the crowd would not accept it, and the match was restarted.
The winner of that battle, however, was Dirty Dan Dillinger, hitting Necro with his swingout chokeslam for the 1-2-3.

Then Darksyde came in, and stated that Mad Dog wasn't really ready
to take him on, and decided to give him a warmup match.
Darksyde then introduced Dainja, and his surprise tag team partner,
Boston's Own Jay Cortez. Many wondered if these two could coexist
as a team, considering they had such a heated fight at the last show,
and it wasn't scheduled!! In less than 6 minutes, Mad Dog had dismantled the
the team of Dainja and Cortez, but, then, as ordered by Darksyde, Dainja and Cortez went on the attack.
Mad Dog had managed to fend them off, but, his stand against Darksyde's corps
was shortlived, as Thorr and Dillinger raced down to the ring,
and put the finishing touches to Mad Dog's stance.
Jay Cortez felt it wasn't enough,
he then called out long-time Mad Dog opponent,
his charge, Tiberias, to the ring. With chair in hand, Tiberias walked into
the ring, and as they held Mad Dog up for him, Tiberias turned on
Thorr, Dillinger, and Dainja, hitting them with chairshots,
sending them to the ringside floor.
Cortez stood confused, as Tiberias walked out of the ring,
and back to a questioning lockerroom.
Mad Dog was then sent to the hospital, with serious injuires.

K-Von Brown then faced off with Timothy Plasma, in a battle of the high flyers.
This match had plenty of action,
and in the finish, saw Plasma take home the "W".

Tony Blaze's Partner was released from the
company earlier in the day for failing to comply with
company rules and regulations, leaving Tony Blaze to fend for himself
against the likes of AC Smooth and Tiberias, in a Handicap Match.
Tony Blaze fared well against Smooth and Tiberias, but, in the end,
A.C. and Tiberias proved to be too much for "The Latin Sensation", as they won with no problems,
but Tony's problems seemed to be just beginning. AC and Tiberias continued to attack Blaze, until
The Empire City assassins, Killian Whyte and Necro Black, came down and put a stop to it,
wrestling AC Smooth to the back, allowing Tony Blaze to hit Tiberias with "The Latin Swing".
Now, due to the ECA's interferance with the jumping, Necro Black will face off
AC Smooth one on one, and Tony Blaze, will face Tiberias, one on one, on May 31st, 2008.

And finally, it had all come down to this,
the namesake of the entire event, The War of the Titans,
the World Heavyweight Title Match. Lucifer darksyde came down
to the ring, ready for the battle of his career,
as Mad Dog Joe Stone, coming back from the hospital
against Doctor's orders, to defend the belt.
This match didn't take long, as Darksyde wore Mad Dog down,
beating him from pillar to post. Darksyde had made a promise
the last show, and managed to keep it, becoming the new
MWF World Heavyweight Champion!
How long will Darksyde's reign last, when he's now
fallen into the crosshairs of one Ron Price?!
Only time will tell...
