The following took place on Tuesday in Orlando, FL.
TNA Impact Tapings for May 8:
- Jim Cornette came to the ring and called out the eight wrestlers involved in the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament. Cornette said he would announce two of the teams tonight. The first team announced was Sting and James Storm. Storm didn't want to be Sting's partner. Sting vs. Storm in a No DQ match is made for later in the night.
- Jimmy Rave defeated TNA X Divison Champion Petey Williams, Curry Man, Johnny Devine, Shark Boy and Consequences Creed in a Six Way non-title match.
- Backstage, Jim Corentte announced to the Knockouts that there would be an "Immunity Pole Match" where the winner would be immune from getting their head shaved at the PPV.
- Gail Kim won the "Immunity Pole Match."
- Sting defeated James Storm in a No DQ Match.
- Cornette returned to the ring and announced the next tag team in the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament - Matt Morgan and Kip James. This goes into...
- Matt Morgan defeated Kip James.
- Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner defeated TNA World Champion Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash. After the match, Angle attacked Steiner.
- Xplosion: The Motor City Machineguns & Kaz defeated Black Reign, Rellik & Lance Hoyt.
