AAW "Defining Moment" is in the books and what a night it was. Another packed house witnessed the below results.
________________________________________________
*Show started with a promo from JJ Inc. Danny Daniels said they gave Jim Jesus and Jerry Lynn the night off and they were in a six man tag later in the evening. Marek Brave spoke about Tyler Black and how Tyler never defeated him, Danny Daniels or Jerry Lynn and he would never get the title back.
Tyler Black d. Keith Walker w/ Dave Prazak
After Walker easily defeated a rookie Dave Prazak got on the mic and claimed Walker would be the man to get the Heavyweight title in the camp of DP Associates. He was insulted that they were in the opener. This brought out Tyler Black and the match was on! Walker punished Black for much of the match. Towards the end Rasche Brown came to ringside looking for revenge on Walker after their issues from last month. Black was able to rebound and after hitting Walker with everything he had was finally able to put him away with a frog splash.
Golden Vampire won the Chandler McClure invitational battle royal.
Jordan Mcintyre, Berwyn Brawler, Secret Ninja, Wayne Weems, Hunter Matthews, Knight Wagner and Absolute Answer were the other competitors. It came down to Mcintyre and Vampire. After McClure helped Vampire get the win it was obvious the two were in cahoots. Eric Priest appeared on the big screen. He had the Golden Vampire knocked out in the lockeroom. He asked Chandler if the Vampire was in the back who was in the ring?
Eric Priest d. Chandler McClure
Priest took off his mask to reveal his true identity and McClure tryed to bail. Priest was in control early until McClure went after the knee. Priest was able to come back and hit the F69 for the win.
* After the match Eric Priest got on the mic and explained that he had been doing alot of thinking about his career. Doctors have told him his knee injury is not improving and it may be time to hang up the boots. Priest said he has done alot in his career but the one thing left is the AAW Heavyweight title. Priest said he is coming for Jerry Lynn and after defeating him, his run with the belt will be the last of his career.
* Promo from Joey Eastman who was disgusted with what the Phoenix Twins did to him last month. He had found a loophole in the Northstar Express contract that sated the titles only had to be defended every 60 days. Tonights match would be non title and Eastman was flying back to the East Coast.
Phoenix Twins d. Northstar Express in a non title macth
Although the belts were not on the line the Twins still came out with intensity and were able to defeat the NSE laying claim to being the uncrowned champions. After the match Arik Cannon came out and Eastman's men beat down the Phoenix Twins.
Ryan Boz d. Krotch w/ Nikki
Krotch showed alot of heart in this one but the monsterous Boz was just too much as he destroyed the youngster and then intimidated his sister Nikki after the match.
* Promo from Benjamin and Hollister saying how they were ready for the challenge and were going to shock the world by defeating the Machine Guns
Motor City Machine Guns d. Bryce Benjamin/Shane Holister
One of the best AAW tag team matches in recent memory as the crowd hung on every maneuver. The fans were split throughout the match as Sabin and Shelly tried time and time again to put away Adrenaline Overdose. Benjamin and Hollister continued to rally and came within a hair of scoring the upset on numerous occasions. In the end the Machine Guns had their hands raised but Adrenaline Overdose had earned their respect as Alex Shelley got on the mic and proclaimed "you guys are d**n good." The crowd applauded as the four men embraced in the ring.
Silas Young d. Arik Cannon
A solid effort by both men. Krotch tried interferring but was easly dispatched by Cannon. Silas hit the "zero gravity" headstand moonsault for the win as he continues to climb the rankings. After the match Valerie Malone hit the ring and said she was done with managing and wanted a truce with Silas. Silas reluctantly accepted.
Trik Davis/Danny Daniels/ Marek Brave d. Rasche Brown/Mdogg20/Dan Lawrence
An action packed match as all six men left it all in the ring. Keith Walker came out and brawled with Rasche Brown all the way to the back. This gave JJ Inc a three on two advantage and Marek Brave pinned Mdogg after a superkick. After the match Tyler Black cleared the ring with a steel chair and told JJ Inc he was not afraid of any of them and that he was going to take them out one by one.
Jimmy Jacobs d. Egotistico Fantastico w/ Bily Whack to retain the Heritage title in a no DQ match.
A must see match that saw Ego try to put Jimmy through a table five times! Jacobs was busted wide open and it looked like Ego had won the belt until referee PJ Drummond saw Jacobs foot on the rope and restarted the match. Jacobs was able to regain control and hit a top rope senton for the win.
AAW returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club on May 31st.
Already signed:
AAW Tag Team Championship Match Northstar Express w/ Joey Eastman (c) vs Motor City Machine Guns Chris Sabin/Alex Shelley

New England Championship Wrestling proudly presents one of its biggest events of the year, the 5th Annual IRON 8 Championship Tournament, Saturday night, May 31 at the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA. Bell time is 7:00 PM.
The IRON 8 is the most unique tournament in pro wrestling. Described as "the ultimate test of skill, stamina and strategy," it presents eight great athletes with an unusual challenge. It begins with the 8 selected wrestlers competing in an opening round consisting of four singles matches. The winners then face each other in a 4 way, 45 minute iron man match. Whoever scores the most pinfalls or submissions in 45 minutes wins the match and is that year's IRON 8 Champion. It is an athletic test unlike any other, and the victor truly proves he is an iron man.
The 8 participants are:
"Die Hard" Eddie Edwards, who won the last two tournaments, was automatically entered and declared the first seed.
Gran Akuma, representing Chikara Pro Wrestling
"The Japanese Nightmare" Kahagus currently based in Florida
