*BOBBY LASHLEY DISCUSSES LEAVING THE WWE, POTENTIAL MMA DEALS, TNA, VINCE MCMAHON *

Bobby Lashley was the guest on the most recent edition of PWB's Official Podcast Hotline with Lex and Ian, located at
http://www.pwbpodcastlive.com. In a no-holds-barred interview, Lashley discussed a number of topics.

On leaving the WWE:

“I didn’t leave WWE just because…no selfish reasons or anything like that. There’s all kinds of rumors floating around that I left just because I didn’t get paid enough…let the speculation die. I left because, let’s just say I wanted to pursue other interests. And right now I’ve been training to fight, so those are my other interests right now.”

On what MMA organization he’ll be fighting for, and when he’ll first fight:

“I really can’t say what organization, because I’m kind of in talks with about three different ones. Right now it just depends on who gives me the best deal. The ones that I’ve talked to, they’ve already had some things scheduled and things that they want me to do, and that’s where I came up with possibly the end of the Summer, towards October and that timeframe…I might have a fight.”

“…Whoever wants me, I’m going. I’m ready to fight, man.”

On rumors that Booker T and Kurt Angle are pushing him to TNA:

“I talk to those guys from time to time, and they seem to love over there in TNA, and that’s all they talk about.”

“Whether I’m going to go over there or not, I’m not sure. I am open for dialogue…if we can work some things out, I can possibly go over there and do it…maybe TNA, but I’ll definitely fighting [in MMA]...”

On working with Vince McMahon:

“I didn’t realize how tough he was, but he likes to go out there and scrap, and that was a good lesson that he taught a lot of people, including myself, in the business: that if he can do it, we can do it.”

On his move to the ECW brand:

“…I actually requested to go there. I was on Smackdown, and there were different things going on at the time, and I…requested to go there, and I actually requested to go there several times until it was finally granted.”

“…I think Paul Heyman is an excellent person to be around…he has a great mind, and a lot of great insight…and a lot of great ideas that he wanted to do…”

On Michael Hayes:

“…I’m in a good mood today, and I’d rather not talk about Michael Hayes at all…I think there’s so many other things that we could talk about, so many positive things that we could talk about versus brining any kind of negativity into this interview…”
