ESPN gains the rights to 'U.S. Open' from USA Network + Backlash PPV
» Reported by Adam Martin of WrestleView.com

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, WWE Monday Night Raw will no longer be bumped for the U.S. Open on the USA Network as ESPN signed a six-year deal to gain the rights for the U.S. Open today. This will go into effect in 2009, so USA will still have it in September and it is doubtful they will bump Raw for it. USA has had the rights to the U.S. Open since 1985.

Devin Cutting sent this in: WWE Backlash will be held at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on April 26th, 2009. Go to http://www.prowrestlingevents.tk for info about upcoming shows.
