TNA House Show Results - 5/18/08
Location: Wallingford, Connecticut

Chris Day sent this report in:

Hey everyone I just got back from the TNA House Show in Wallingford, CT and I must admit it was a very good show.

Jeremy Borash welcomed everyone to the show and then kicked the show off with X Division Action.

1. Alex Shelley vs Consequences Creed
Very solid opening contest with both men getting lots of offense and hitting high spots. Shelley hit a nice leg drop from the top rope to win it. After the match, Shelley told the crowd to give it up for Creed and the two shook hands.
Winner: Alex Shelley

Jeremy Borash starts to cut a promo for merchandise and is interupted by Johnny Devine. Devine gets heat by making fun of the CT fans saying how fat everyone is and how ugly the women are. He says he wants to open managements eyes and gives out a open challenge to anyone.

2. Johnny Devine vs Matt Morgan
Fairfield CT's Matt Morgan answers the challenge. This guy is abosolutely enormous. Devine tries and fails to take down Morgan. Morgan then handily destroys him and wins with an F-5.
Winner: Matt Morgan

3. Eric Young vs Rellik(thats Killer spelled backward).
Rellik dominates Young for most of the match. Anytime Young gets offense, Rellik takes him down. Young goes under the ring and then the Super Eric music hits. Super Eric dominates the rest of the way to defeat Rellik.
Winner: Super Eric

Jeremy Borash got the crowd pumped and whoever made the most noise got to go backstage. Around 15 passes were given out.

4. TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
Team 3D vs LAX
Team 3D came out first and ran down the crowd. Brother Ray was refusing to wrestle until these little boys in the front row were kicked out for threatening him. He then proceeding to make fun of them until LAX came out. LAX had probably the loudest pop of the evening. Great tag team match. During the match Brother Ray left leaving Devon on his own. Hernandez overpowered Devon and then Homicide hit a senton to win it.
Winners: LAX

~20 Minute Intermission with the backstage pass winners going to the back~

Jeremy Borash and TV Cameras did what I think was for TNA Today. They panned the crowd and JB said that this would be on a future episode of Impact on Spike TV.

Kurt Angle came out to cut a promo saying it was because of the fans that TNA is seen in 130 countries worldwide. He also mentioned his neck injury and said that he would be back in action in about 3 weeks.

5. TNA Knockout's Championship
ODB vs Awesome Kong
Decent match to say the least. The crowd was pretty into it. ODB put up a fight but anytime she got momentum going, Kong stopped it. Awesome Kong retains with the Awesome Bomb.
Winner: Awesome Kong

6. Intergender Tag Team Match
"War Machine" Rhino and Traci Brooks vs "Cowboy" James Storm and "Pride of Tennessee" Ms. Jaqueline
Traci and Jackie started it off. Traci started strong but Jacqueline took over. Tags back and forth throughout. Storm kept tagging out to avoid Rhino. Jaqueline tried to fight Rhino then got scared and tagged Storm while diving out of the ring. Brooks took out Jaqueline and threw her back in while Rhino hit a spinebuster on Storm. Traci and Rhino then hit double gores to Storm and Jaqueline to get the pinfalls. Very good match.
Winners: Traci Brooks and Rhino

7. Main Event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Samoa Joe vs Tomko
Samoa Joe dominated Tomko early on. Boots to the face and an enzurguri leveling Tomko. Tomko fought back slamming Joe and hitting hard clotheslines. Joe tried a Muscle buster but was pushed down to the mat. Tomko went for a Swanton Bomb but missed. Joe then locked in the Coquena Clutch for the submission victory.
Winner: Samoa Joe

After the show, JB says there is a Kurt Angle Special where for $20 you can get an autograph and a picture in the ring with Kurt Angle. Huge Line formed for that. Also many of the superstars came out for autographs and pictures. This included, Consequences Creed, Ref. Rudy Charles, Matt Morgan, Alex Shelly, Rhino, ODB, Jeremy Borash himself and a few others. Plenty of fans took advantage of this. Overall a great show. The show wasnt sold out but was pretty filled. Definitly worth every penny. I recommend seeing TNA if they come to your area.
