Update on Bobby Lashley signing deal with MMA promotion; debut - info
On Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 7:06 PM EST As reported yesterday, former WWE star Bobby Lashley confirmed his signing with the Kentucky-based American Fight League MMA promotion at the company's event last night in Atlanta. Lashley cut a promo in front of the live audience about wanting to fight and be the best. AFL is scheduled to run the Philips Arena in October for a PPV marking Lashley's debut. We don't have much details about this scheduled PPV event considering this promotion is no where near on the level of MMA companies such as the UFC, WEC, EliteXC, Strikeforce, DREAM or Affliction. His opponent has yet to be announced.
