During WWE's press conference on Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles, Vince McMahon stated they are giving away $1 million per week, but didn't specify how many weeks it would last. McMahon said this was being done to get people to check out WWE, bring back old fans or make new ones. He said it would last as many weeks as he wanted it to (which could have been code word for wanting to see a shift in the ratings).

It was noted that starting next week they will give away one prize of $250,000, two of $200,000, one of $125,000, one of $98,000, one of $75,000, one of $51,998 and one of $2.

WWE stated that over 300,000 people signed up last night for the contest crashing the website.
